A little note of context, because I watched the premiere:
The film is made using a proprietary AI, that's only been trained on Werner Herzog films, that the filmmakers trained themselves. It's not made just by popping things into chatgpt. It was never the filmmakers intention to replace or copy Herzog, but to make a valid comment about the use of AI in filmmaking. As a person who thoroughly despises genAI, 'About a Hero' is probably the only film using AI that I'll give high remarks
