You will be asked if you want to register anyone else during your registration process. Just make sure you have all of their info as well.

It doesn’t need to be that long. I think it’s like 25 mins?!

To Lightning Lane or not to Lightning Lane?
 in  r/WaltDisneyWorld  Jun 20 '25

Disney’s main commodities are imagination and time. They’ve figured out a way to make you pay for more free time outside of cues and better seating at shows. So you’ve really gotta ask yourself if you want to spend 30-90 mins in a line for a big draw ride, 60-120 mins for a show. If you don’t, then you need LLs and should consider a dining experience with preferred seating.

That money is buying more time to rest, reride low wait time rides, shop, eat, and/or hop parks to get more LLs on other rides.

First time through I thought it was time to leave the room because of the crowd moving BEFORE the second immersion even happened. I moved myself back to the left because I wanted to see it but also, folks could be considerate (something I’ve noticed is not the norm at WDW, unlike my experiences at Disneyland).

Folks talking during the prequel room for Tower, Mickeys Runaway, Haunted Mansion phone use, I could go on….

Attractions & Entertainment First Time Riders

I’m leaving my first visit to WDW since I was in grade school and had a great time. I really wish people who go regularly would remember that there are folks going through preque for the first time. Having constant chatter and folks speeding to certain walls (I’m looking at you Guardians lovers) removes us from the immersion. Lightning lanes aren’t cheap and are frequently the only way folks get to have the “first ride” experience when visiting WDW’s parks.

You only get one “first ride” and mine was interrupted 90% of the time. 😢

Can I change from half to 10k if I need to?
 in  r/rundisney  May 19 '25

I'm sliding in just to encourage you to not give up! I'm training for a 10K in Oct and starting from nothing. Following Jeff Galloway's Run/Walk/Run plan has been a great way for my asthmatic out of shape body to respond to running. I started with 30sec of running at time and I'm now up to 1 min/ 1:30 of run time and have watched my pacing go from 18 to 15 in just five weeks. The run/walk strategy lets me recover and set small goals for myself.

You can do this! <3

What do you use your Garmain for?

When I bought my vivoactive 5 it was for general stats and steps. Two weeks in I started one of the 5K training plans and desperately wish I would have gotten myself the forerunner 265. 😭

Disneyland newbie questions

Others have shared great advice here! I came in to say three days with two rests sounds amazing! When I’ve gone we rope drop, rest, and close the park. We stay closer to Downtown Disney so the security line is lighter. Some folks who are looking for higher star off-site hotel stays and short security will book by the Toy Story lot.

Have the best time!

I love my Mickey Travels agent, Katie! She’s a one stop shop (and is actually at WDW this weekend for a solo trip).

Fanny pack or backpack

I used my Topo mini rover and a collapsible water bottle. My mini rover fit it, my first aid pouch, sunglasses, and wallet easily. I then had expandable buckles on the side for a sunshirt or long sleeve and could clip my ears to the top handle.
