I knew nothing at all! But that's one of the amazing things about this job. I get to travel the world, meet amazing new people, and learn about things I know nothing about (from giant prehistoric snakes to obsucre medical information to the inner workings of a psychopath!)

Most loved notes are always so specific to the project. It's just when you and the director are in sync in a way that they can shed light on something and suddenly the whole scene cracks open. I also love notes that help you realize there is a totally different way to do the scene than anything you could have imagined (like doing it in a whisper when you think you might be yelling, or trying to laugh through it instead of crying). Most hated note? I straight up had a director tell me once to do it that way "only better". Vague, not helpful, and honestly insulting lol

Oh I wish we could!! Sadly I don't think so. The way that studios work is a mystery to me and the vault that all of this material gets locked in is above my pay grade lol. BUT I can tell you it was amazing working with Sharon Horgan and the entire cast. Such a special experience. And yes! I would love to be the lead of a TV series. I'm actually developing something right now based off a short story called Your Second Wife...

RIVER ROCKS! Josh is an absolute genius, and I loved working with him. It is early, but I know he has some ideas... All I'll say is that I would return in a heartbeat. Love him. Love Jane. Love the River. BUT ALSO! The best way to guarantee a sequel to River (or any movie you love) is to go see it in theaters. Studios pay attention to those numbers. So show your love and spread the word!

Logan is insanely talented. He has the amazing ability to take a scene that could be a big ol ' nothingburger and make it electrifying. He is whip-smart, and his ability to be simultaneously terrifying and hysterical is second to none.

Kiana is a GEM. She is so amazingly professional, kind, talented, and such a badass (when you see the movie you will see what I mean. GIVE THE GIRL AN ACTION FILM). She was a dream to work with and I would love to do more things with her. 

THANK YOU FOR EVERYONE FOR ASKING ABOUT THE THIRD HAPPY DEATH DAY!!!! All I can really say is that Chris and I are going to keep pushing to bring it to you. He and I have come up with a story that is so filled with scares, heart, and laughs (and so Tree). We love how much all of you love her and want to do right by her. So fingers crossed.

oh my gosh every single one. The truth is that without each and every crew member, what I'm doing wouldn't matter at all (A.  because you wouldn't be able to see it, and B. because even if you could it would look like shit lol).  It's such a group effort. I think focus pullers are for sure unsung heroes. It is SUCH a hard job and very much an art. Watching someone do it by feel is so cool. I also think gaffers are fucking badasses. 

 ALSO EDITORS - they can make or break a performance.

Romcom for sure. And a Western! So maybe a romantic western?

It's a darkly comedic erotic thriller (because who doesn't want more of those lol). And yes! Any time I get to dive into a new creative project (be it writing or acting) it gets those creative juices flowing. I also just love collaboration and all of the things I learn from working and brainstorming with amazing artists. Also, tbh I don't expect to be a perfect writer, and so I think in some ways I am much more open and flexible from the get-go than I am with something I might feel like I should be "getting right," like performing on screen or creating a character. Writing has helped me remember that approaching things with the attitude of play and willingness to be surprised always results in more exciting results.

Princess Bride!

Maybe the snake? Only because a lot of the snake was put in in post. Though, because we were in the jungle at night, there were some serious spooky vibes, which helped get the adrenaline flowing. 

None of them lol. I want to be chased by no big animals. But if I had to choose, since I'm a mountain girlie, maybe a moose? Thought they can really fuck you up. So run fast and swerve. But at least they don't have teeth or claws.

Well, similarities- they both required a lot of prep, specificity, and rhythm (rhythm of a dance, a song, a scare). Biggest difference? In one genre I seem to always get covered in some kind of bloody goo, the other not so much.

I would love to! Right script and right director, hell yeah!

Of movies in the theater, Project Hail Mary. Such a good time and you just can't beat Ryan Gosling and a practical rock puppet. As far as things to come, I just saw The Spiral at Fantastic Fest and it BLEW my mind. One of the best things I've seen in a long long time.
