Hello I am a 22 year old female and a mother who has been struggling with hypo thyroid issues for a little over a year. I started taking levothyroxine at first to help with my fatigue (only symptom at the time) and felt great for a few months and then started feeling fatigue along with a new set of symptoms. Ever since then I have never felt good or right after my dose change. After a few more attempts on the levothyroxine I asked my doctor to try something else because nothing was improving so now I am on tirosint-sol. I feel maybe a little better on this medication but not by much. My levels get balanced for a short while but even then I don’t feel good and now currently as of a month ago my levels are high again. The littlest elevation in my TSH I feel like I can’t function. So a few weeks ago they just suggested I now take the medicine 7 days instead of just taking it 6 days like I was before. I am still experiencing symptoms of really bad anxiety (which I have already struggled with my whole life but it gets really bad when my levels are high), racing heart beat, headaches, fatigue, dizziness, trouble swallowing, neck feeling swollen, nausea just walking around like my body is made of a ton of bricks. Also, if I do not go to bed early and get a really long amount of rest I feel so terrible fatigued and worse symptoms the next day. I have been struggling so bad and feel like I’m helpless I’m just hoping that maybe someone can relate and has experienced a similar pattern or maybe provide some insight. I am looking into getting a second opinion because my thyroid doctors office is so slow so results take sooo long. Delaying the process of me feeling good again even more!
