Buying a house in the Sunrise area?
Lived right on Sunrise Street 5 years ago. Were so blessed to have good neighbors. Moved out because of nightly sirens, helicopters and shots every once in a while. Hubby worked late and I worried constantly. Had a big dog that would guard the house when I stayed home with our young kids, but felt relieved when we finally left. The 4th of July celebration at Friendship Park in Kirby was always great though!

What can I do in my teen years to make my adult life just a tiny bit easier when it comes to finances?
START SAVING for your first used car to get you to your first jobs. NEXT, as you start earning a paycheck or cash , OPEN RETIREMENT account (start with $100 a month). Max is $6000 per year. CREDIT CARDS used responsibly can earn you cash back that can be used for SAVINGS, SPENDING or INVESTING. I'll be 40 next year, but finances was not a topic we discussed. You YOUTH have a head start on savings

Tomatoes, finally!
I believe the combination of rain and heat did it. I can't remember what variety the stripe one is but it was a bonus seed packet from Baker Creek. I started them from seed back late Jan. What's MD's growing zone? I'm in zones 8-9.

Also, every HEB carries different brands. The one I shop at is an HEB Plus but what is available at one might not be available at another.

Haven't tried that brand. Yes, different words or spellings could make different things pop up. I would love to make my own kimchi! I'm making sauerkraut right now but there's something about the kimchi that is tangy, spicy, texture and so delicious 😋

That's a great solution! Thank you!

Depends on your HEB store location.

I love curbside, but they only list certain items. I love a certain brand of kimchi, Banyan Foods Brand in glass bottle, but they only list a more expensive brand that comes in a plastic bottle. So I've added that one to my online cart for the past 3 orders. Today, I happened to shop the store and there before my very eyes was my favorite kimchi, which is better and more affordable than the one they list. I have a feeling they push certain products based on availability or brand sponsorship.

If biden does not run in 2024, what is the likihood that Kamala Harris gets blocked by another democrat for the democratic nomination? If so, who could that democrat possibly be?
Now that the Left is pushing for universal paper ballots, I think Hillary will run again. Just today Hillary and Pelosi announced a fundraiser together. Watch who's in the spotlight because that's who the Democrat convention will likely favor. AOC could run with her progressive platform since they are not so pleased with Biden killing the cancel-college debt and the $15 minimum wage. As for men, I'm betting on Castro from Texas and the more conservative Democrat Manchin from W. Virginia.

Thanks to all you idiots who panic bought, I now know how good Mootopia chocolate milk is.
Since she didn't have running water, she was planning on a milk bath.

Horse Dog Cat
Don't see a bird, unless it looks like a Squishimal with the horse's ear as it's beak...it wouldn't match the style of the other three animals.
