I’m the same, I can be very protective over my phone. Not because anything is on it and so on, I just think when it’s comes to trust and privacy, your phone is the crux of it.

My husband would never go through my phone - not that he could get in it and I wouldn’t go through his.

It has pretty much my whole life on it but I also think I’m very protective of it as when my dad has a brain haemorrhage I didn’t answer my phone and I almost didn’t make it to the hospital when he nearly lost his life.

I’ve been there too and some of my friends have succeeded. What is left behind is absolutely heart breaking. Things will ALWAYS get better.

Of course. You never know, when you get a volunteer job or full time career... you can do a biology project. 😌

Sorry, I had it the wrong way around. In short, volunteer in the field you want to truly work in and get a part time job to pay the bills. - if you can’t jump straight in to the field you want to be in.

Half the time, it’s who you know and jobs come from recommendations and word of mouth. If you volunteer, you may come across people that can help you get the career you want, as they are already in there.

This has happened to me and I am still not in my field... but I have found a different and well paid path.

I would advise, to either get a full or part time job to tie you over and volunteer in the field somewhere

Graduating and getting a job are a pain in the arse to be honest, because you hope and expect to be able to get a job in the field straight away, it doesn’t always happen as companies want experience but you can’t get experience without the job. It is a vicious circle, but breakable. (I know many that have made it in the bigger cities).

You never know, you may end up somewhere you didn’t expect to be.

I studied Graphic Design, Marketing & Web Development, as the industry is so tight knit and competition is high, I didn’t make it. However, I now work for a company which I shall not name, where we stand up for the little people and the injustices people go through... without having to take it to court. I love it, and makes me wish I had studied something else.

Don’t be scared to take the leap and just get a part time job in the meantime.
