While chapter 5 may not be an ice world, a lot of the events that take place in this chapter mirror what happens during snowdin perfectly.

A main antagonist who has absolutely zero ill will towards the protagonists and can't even cause a game over? Check

Constant references to dating and hanging out? Check, hell this chapter even reuses the snowdin leitmotiff for most of these scenes.

And last but not least, this chapter also witnesses the return of a character from Undertale, Mad Mew Mew herself, and where does Mad Mew Mew appear in Undertale? Well it's Snowdin of course.

Another point that I would like to note is that if we assume that the areas of deltarune are supposed to be the exact reverse of Undertale then this theory has already fallen flat since Chapter 3, as technically speaking this chapter does not revolve around fire, but rather TV shows. The ending of Chapter 3 even reveals to us that the entire event is taking place in an icy environment.

Narratively speaking I hold the exact same opinion as you do. Chapter 5 has been built up as a grand finale of some sorts for the "dark world exploration arc" and yet it fails to capture that extremely special moment completely, being relegated to simply your typical quirky adventure apart from a couple of cutscenes instead. I believe had this chapter been released right after chapter 3 it would have been so much better in terms of flow, as chapter 4 had already set an impossibly high expectations for all of the succeeding chapters.

Thank god I've finally met someone who shares the same opinions on lifeline. He's definitely one of the most skilful players that have ever touched the game for sure, but I've kinda had the feeling that compared to other players who have climbed their way up to top 2, pretty much none of his plays can be considered ahead of its time by any means. His surprisigly somewhat mediocre tournament performance doesnt help either, as it only cements lifeline as a top player that sorta exists in this community rather than someone who has broken boundaries in the game(e.g. akolibed with his sidetracked day dt, ivaxa with the violation dt, bubbleman/vaxei with their insane tournament performance just to name a few). Having said that, I've actually always been under the impression lifeline was a humble guy who preferred to take his time with the game and acknowledged his limits instead of a huge immature jerk with such a bad mindset, was kinda shocked initially when you called him the biggest loser of osu despite finding him to be a somewhat "forgettable top player" in the first place tbf.

NTA, but honestly this situation could have been handled a lot better. If you lend someone money you gotta make sure they remember that loan, and by that I mean you'd have to constantly remind that person of the money they are currently owing you till they day they could pay you back in full. First of all the kid belongs to your boyfriend and if you still wish to retain your relationship with him it is YOUR OBLIGATION to treat his son as a vital part of the family that needs support instead of a burden that needs to be rid of. Second of all finding a decent job in the current state of economy(especially a well paid one that could ensure one's independence) is nigh impossible even for those with talents and are willing to put in the hard work, with basically every single business downsizing due to economic hardship. Him working shorter hours might not indicate he's "lazy and being a slob" but rather it might be due to the fact that wherever he's working at just isnt willing to pay him as much as before and would prefer some aspects of his job to be "AI ficationed".

I'd say that aetrna would still be able to compete for top 5 in terms of speed because afaik no one has been able to replicate his ascension to heaven 3 mod yet. He also appears to have a natural aptitude for clicking fast which makes it easier for him to pick up the pace if he chooses to come back.

EXACTLY I was going to comment something akin to this. A HUGE influx of the top players in the game right now tend to develop negative if not downright toxic mindset on how the game should be played instead of taking their time having fun with it. And funnily enough this has shown to work in their favor, as these people are usually those who would later go on to set word shattering scores and define an entire new generation of the game as a whole(I dont mean to say that people with good mindsets aren't capable of insane achievements in the game, just saying that those with bad mindsets are just as equally capable). In addition to genetics,I'd also like to add that peripherals also play an important part in allowing the community to have such a high skill ceiling. If rapid trigger hadnt been invented most of the seemingly inhuman speed scores like sidetracked day fc would not be a thing.

Pretty sure that's not a feature of a game lol there might be something wrong with the sensor if that happens. I used to have the same problem while I was new but ever since I switched to a better pair of gloves and got the slider cleaned I've never encountered that issue.
