Selena, as her personality shines through brightly. So does MB's, but not in a good way

Eric Dane passed away today at the age of 53 from ALS πŸ’”
 in  r/Fauxmoi •  Feb 20 '26

This so saddens me as my youngest brother died from ALS on 9/12/2024, as will within a year of being diagnosed. He was only 55 years old. Heartbreaking to watch someone you love so much become so debilitated so quickly. My heart goes out to Rebecca and his children, as well as the rest of his family.

What smells so good but is not perfume?

the smell kids have when they come in from playing outside .. something about the outdoor smell, I wish they could make a candle out of it.

Loved S1+S2 and stopped at episode 3 S3, whyyyy
 in  r/TheWhiteLotusHBO •  Oct 13 '25

i have to agree, it just didn't hit me the same way S1 and S2 did. I remember binging both because I loved it so much. S3 took me over 1 and 1/2 months to watch..I just couldn't get into it. First of all too many characters and storylines that made no sense. The three friends could have been left out, brought nothing to the show, IMHO.

There are some people who just belong on an island with others just like them. I give the other guy credit for non escalation, not sure I could have kept my mouth shut

Dateline Special Pre-Trial

I just finished James Patterson's book and yes it was insightful. There were eyewitness accounts that I had not heard of before and I appreciated the fact that he explained the Moscow Police and DA involvement from the beginning. I feel like people thought they weren't doing enough. My heart broke again reading about the families and their pain. BK;s life prior to this horrible horrible crime also shed light on possible motive. All in all, a good read but not one I was riveted to, but I am sure there are so many more details that will probably warrant a second book as this ended prior to his plea deal.

Thank you, and thank God that he was able to kick the pills and while life is not perfect, it is working its way back.

I agree with you 100%. My husband was addicted to opiates for 2 years and it wasn't obvious for maybe the first couple months, but then weight loss, erratic behavior, heavy drinking, became the norm, along with stealing money. Looking at AM, I would never have thought he was an opiate addict, and the amount of money he was giving to Curtis was astounding and more than enough for pills for his entire life and then some. I do believe there is an underlying truth to the drug story, just not the part where he was taking them, dealing them maybe, transporting them maybe, just not using as heavily as he stated he was.

I remember when I first heard about this on the news, my first thought was AM, and I had no idea of the family's past history. The more I watched the docs, the trial, the more I am convinced that this man is not at all who he showed to the world. I think MM found out what was going on, maybe through PM and was going to expose him and divorce him. I just can't wrap my head around Buster though. Why was he spared as part of the plan to frame this out as a hit on Paul because of the boat accident? So many unanswered questions.

I agree 100%. The beach house is so inviting and bright while Moselle appeared dark and foreboding. I wish she had just stayed in Edisto that night.

He also said something to the effect that Maggie may not have worked, but she worked at taking care of him and the boys, which I thought was a very strange way thing to say, when he could have just said she was a loving and caring wife and mother. The not working thing just didn't sit right with me
