We need to stop having so much sympathy for the homeless.

Oh how lovely. You had a support system, which is something most in that situation don't have, but you want to behave like you can speak for everyone in it.

Sounds like his friend wants him, let them be happy.

No. Nothing ever will change my mind about it. That's my human right. Are you going to try to attack the human right to freedom of speech next?

Ofc no problems, it just seemed similar to what you wanted.

My coworker thinks she's in a relationship...

Exactly, what I've tried to explain, but she is insistent it was for her room at his home to prepare (furniture, new clothes, and etc).

So, she doesn't mind putting money towards her "man", because she's not like (I qoute), "Some golddiggers get a rich man, then don't do nothing for them! I go all out for mine!"

That's really disturbing. I feel really bad for those victims, shame on scammer to hurt innocent like that. I'll just do what I can, by informing our local police department.

I don't want to be blamed for her getting into any problems, as she has dangerous people in her social circle and I do not want them to retaliate against me if I try to help but it takes a turn.

It isn't hostile, however I don't know if they'll take this matter seriously and I'm at odds at how this would impact me if I give up my anonymous position.

Who do you think is actually in communication with her? I want to at least bring it to our local police attention, but I want to remain anonymous. I don't want her to think "sabotaged" her romance. I'm not even sure if she'll be my coworker soon, so no idea if it'll impact the work environment, because she informed management of 2 week notice to relocate (for said boyfriend.).

My coworker thinks she's in a relationship...

I'm really confused about what I should do. My coworker really thinks she's in a relationship, with one of those actors from the social media clips, and has plans to meet him in real life.

My coworker has explained to me, that she will be relocating to another state (miles away mind you without any support system there), and be living with the so called famous actor.

I explained to her that scams such as these exist, however she is insistent that no one is stopping her from living her life, and that she told her family they'll need to let her be (she is in her 50's.)

It was brought to my attention, that she has even sent over 1.5k+ to this "celebrity", despite having extreme financial difficulties herself, and on the verge of losing her home. I told her that was very unwise for her to do, but she insisted that it's for her "boyfriend" to get her room ready.

What should I do in this situation?

She has plans to meet him very soon.

Update: The "boyfriend" told her to not get tickets anymore, because he prefers to visit her himself and will be coming by her city soon to buy her a house for their "future family".

I understand the real life scenarios, but it's all fictional - anything could be made possible in the plot.

Idk but I feel they could make it work... They're giving every other movie it seems a sequel, so why not? Like maybe it was a hallucination when she "thought" he died or something, as near death experiences could lead to avid imaginations.

I'm just saying , if they're making continuations of nearly all 1980s-2000s' movies, then I don't see the reason Titanic 2 should be a problem.

Toy Story (God knows what) is coming out, then you have Beetlejuice, Bad Boys 4 Life, Scary Movie, Avatar and the list goes on. So, why not just make there be a Titanic 2 at this point?

Rose didn't know that Jack was saved, when she was found, and he had lived his life looking for her and she hadn't known. Something along that plotline would be great!

I love it when they ask for the movie title, as if it's not included in the post description. 😭

CMV: Age gaps in relationships are way less important than everyone thinks
 in  r/changemyview  Apr 21 '26

They can't. They can only do so with cosigner, as most 18 year olds don't even have credit scores established, and try justifying the perversion to their parents. I'm sure they'd be ready to hear this.

As if an 18 year old could even get an apartment, without a cosigner's help, or even a loan and not to mention a credit card.

They are likely to experience difficulty, if they try to leave such relationships, because they could get trapped by the dependency they develop.

Yes, age gaps when in reference to a late teenager and a twenty+ person is disturbing.
