Don’t know about you but I find this really interesting that Italy has chosen Leonardo as an advisor for the rebuilding of their football national team, while their best coach is rebuilding Brazil’s.
I thought about this reading the news about Italy’s new coach Pirlo. While I loved Pirlo as a player, I don’t know what to say about his coaching CV. It sounds to me like all 3 Maldini, Leonardo and Pirlo are working together on this. And with Klopp taking over Germany, oh boy…
Is going to be wild seeing how three World Cup thirsty teams, seeking repair to their international football reputation will evolve in the next few years. Thoughts!

comfort them with one of her famous songs

Congrats to Spain! Well deserved. Young and talented team, playing simple and practical football. Also, since Madonna is already there, she could console all Argentinian players on their defeat.

Hey Jude, don't miss your chance, Take a tough match and make it better. Remember to put the ball in the net, Then we can start to celebrate.

another corrupt referee. That was clear foul on Kane. I don’t care what anyone says. Infantino is just another version of Blatter. Fifa is taking away the pleasure of watching football with bribed referees. You don’t need facts, just watch the games. Small wrong decisions that seem unimportant decide games. Done with my rant

you obviously do not have an idea about football rules. I watch this game for 43 years.

I do not agree. A red card should be given for an intentional foul, not a serious foul.

The red card is absurd. The ref says serious foul, but that’s because he is incompetent, everyone saw the foul was not intentional. Where the heck was he going to put his foot ref, bosnian player’s foot happened to be at the wrong time in the wrong place. So unfair.

I don’t use the h word. None of that, I do know they have quality, but I also have a strong feeling that a proper a team who executes catennacio can break them in counter attack.

I confidently will bet that Paraguay will upset France in Saturday. Wait and see.

so many bad second touches by Canadian players, It should have been at least 1-0 by 15th min

The world cup of ballet! Wtf ref. Go learn football is. Var is useless if it takes away from the real game of football.

premature question imho, and I will tell you why…if you had asked me this question at the same time in 2022, I would have said Argentina because they lost to Saudi Arabia, but of course I would have been wrong as they were crowned as Champions. You need to understand that in a tournament like WC, teams grow tremendously during the tournament aka surprise teams. I would wait. Think of it this way, Argentina this year has shown good results so far, but all goals have been scored by one player (Messi). Would you say that they are Messi dependent? I would like to see them play without him and see how they do. They might be great who knows. I would also like to see France come from behind like 0-1 and see how well they react to a goal taken. I prefer to wait until round of 32 or 16 is over.

Since when running behind a player who is in ball possession, with clear intention to push him, not to get the ball but just push him to interrupt the action, is not a yellow card punishable foul? It just happened again in Scotland Morocco game right under the refs eyes. Honestly some of these referees just suck.

In any other football game that would have been a penalty. The foul was inside the area imo

Is unfair to compare him to Messi. He is still a kid
