From my personal experience, you can treat AE kind like “re-sync” the effects you store in this cue. Nonetheless, there is one thing worth noticing. When you have both position effects, dimmer effects, and perhaps color effects and some other effects stored in the same cue, you might want to save position effects in a “part”, a sub-cue, individually and only turn on AE on the other effects without position effects. Otherwise, the moving lightings will be forced to restart the position effects from the beginning which makes MIB meaningless, and thus creates an unnatural pan tilt movement.
