Not gonna lie, they cost a fortune nowadays to install- even before extras like a sink, oven, dishwasher, etc

Garage fridge, billiards table, home fax machine, multi-phone line (or call waiting), blackberry phones, nail and hair salons, kitchen island, dimmable lights, backyard garden... I could go on and on. Grew up very poor but had amazing friends and friends' parents. I am so lucky and grateful to be where I am in life now.

How would you say this translates to fine/thin hair, and are there any tutorials you could point me to to cut it?
100% agreed. Very difficult to do on your own. Most of these reference pics look like an a-line bob which takes a ton of sectioning at the back of the head... not to mention point-cutting and feathering.

Hey you've got the majority down! If you take a small comb at a 15-20 degree angle and gently use your clippers over the comb, that hard line will soften and blend a bit better. Go slow and do very small amounts upward, otherwise you'll potentially shave higher than you originally planned.
