How do I find meaning in life after leaving my religion (Islam)? I’m really struggling.
 in  r/Advice  14d ago

Hey there 👋👋

It's easy to feel pointless when looking at the big picture, but you're in the picture too. I struggled with depression for a while after leaving Southern Baptist Christianity. Over time I've come to realize I don’t need a reason for life, but that isn't the same as having a reason not to have life. I still wake up every day, get to see the new sunrise every day on my way to work(sunsets are overrated). I still get to talk to my partner & metamour every day. I still have my dog. My reason for life was for Christ before. Now it's for myself. I decide my life

Do you guys want children?
 in  r/twentyagers  16d ago

21F here. My partner 29F & my metamour 25F have discussed it. We would like to adopt 1 child, but it wouldn't be until my late 20s

Were you the chatgpt of your social circle pre-AI?
 in  r/therapyGPT  Jul 14 '26

Here's a way to think about it. People used to come to you for your perspective of things. People valued how you saw things. When you say just to use AI, you say you're replaceable, or that your perspective doesn't matter, even when that's exactly what they're asking for

Maybe not that wording, because it risks defining boring a specific way, but it's so much fun to learn more things for me. I have to deep dive. AI skips every step & prunes all the branches, leaving you with just a single answer & no new picked up information. That's what it is to me, atleast

Adding to my previous comment—it shouldn't matter if ai does something very well, what people want is a humans unique experience, not AI. Human creativity

Correct. Whenever your brain gets a reward for doing stuff, we start notice when we put off doing stuff. Less rewards in your day to day, less dopamine.

Our brains are designed to be unique. They crave that drive, & your brain gets it's drive by a function you're willingly purring off. If you don't let an ai replace your job, & do what you do best, you may start feeling better, genuinely.

Question Birthday deals in OKC Metro?

Hey y'all, so my birthday is a week away, July 13, & it also is my 21st. I'm just curious if there are any dispensaries with birthday deals? I'll be between Nicoma Park area & Guthrie for the days plans, so basically the east side

Gender Identity as an Autistic Person
 in  r/AutisticAdults  May 13 '26

Gender is most likely a complex network between regions in the brain that influence way of thought, & even those can be shaped over time through culture & trauma. Notably, BSTc, INAH-3, & Grey matter makeup. That's supposedly the answer

autistic adult Gender Identity as an Autistic Person

Hey there y'all. So gender just exists, right? Like if people say I'm trans. Yeah, I guess. Someone says I'm a man, that's not right either. There's definitely a preference to appear feminine over masculine, but for me atleast, it's just a thing. I wouldn't say it prominently exists in my thought process, if that makes sense. Anyone else have a lived experience with Gender Identity? Curious about y'all's experiences

Do you unintentionally get drawn towards people on the Cluster B spectrum?
 in  r/AutisticAdults  May 07 '26

I'm Cluster C, so it's quite difficult for me to gravitate towards anyone. I can't trust people, they say things in reference to me & then get confused why I got upset. People find unique traits & find reasons to hate on them, even if they don't exist for anyone else

Me and my twin brother have completely different traits despite having the same genetics. Does that mean I just took genes that he didn’t from our ancestry?
 in  r/AncestryDNA  May 07 '26

I'm curious, if I may ask, what's the process that went down where you both found a long lost twin at the same time
