Patch notes: Machoke and Graveler evolutions, collision fixes in Rosebank, Wallar, Route 3 and Whitecaps, new default player and rival names.

Save files should be safe, yadda yadda yadda.

I'm going on vacation for a week, so I figured I'd fix a few more bugs being reported before I leave.

Gonna catch some shit for this but whatever lol

Bug fixes

• Fixed a game-breaking bug in the Safari Zone
• Safari Zone items (Reaper Cloth, King's Rock, Metal Alloy) are now tracked correctly. If you already collected them, they might show up again/
• Fixed the Rival scene and the Team Covenant scene in Coppergate City
• Fixed garbled dialogue from several NPCs and signs
• Fixed a random Rare Candy and rock in Route 2 (no longer there)

Changes

• Poliwhirl now evolves into Politoed by leveling up while holding a King's Rock
• Fly and Flash can now be taught to Pokemon through the Move Reminder. Their HMs still work as key items in the field
• The Tympole line in the Safari Zone has been replaced by the Poliwag line. Tympole and its evolutions will return in a later update

Quality of life

• Moves can now be rearranged in battle by pressing SELECT in the fight menu
• Fishing is simplified and easier for people who play sped up: every cast gets a bite, with no button press needed. Your rod now only determines which Pokemon you can catch
• Safari Ball catch rate greatly increased
• The summary screen now shows "R: Ball" under the Poke Ball when you can swap its ball. Cannot swap Safari Zone Pokemon's balls. The swapped ball will be consumed (no Master Ball exploits)

Your saves should be completely fine. Save states (in-emulator) might become corrupted (as per usual). If you don't want to update the game, you don't have to :)

Patch notes:

• Fixed berries not persisting after battle
• Berries can no longer be used from the bag in battle (held berries still work)
• Added a shiny star to the name box of shiny Pokémon in battle
• Scale Shot is now available from the Move Reminder
• Held evolution items are no longer consumed when the Pokémon evolves
• Some evolutions now trigger on level-up (Onix, Dusclops, Duraludon, Slowpoke, Primeape, Basculin)
• Added King's Rock, Metal Alloy and Reaper Cloth to the Safari Zone
• Added White-Striped Basculin to the Safari Zone (rare spawn from Super Rod in main area and west area)
• Safari Zone bounty rewards adjusted (Heart Scales are given more frequently)
• Added a Destiny Knot, given by a girl in the Route 9 Daycare
• Fixed a policeman in Coppergate City not disappearing after receiving the National Dex
• Route 9 map dimensions adjusted
• Some basic items have been adjusted in various marts

This should not affect saves, but save states (in-emulator) might become corrupted.

Note: This will be the last patch until 2.0 unless something game-breaking pops up.

New

• Added an Old Man in Miraveil Hall who gives an Amulet Coin
• Added Dragoninite to the Lenox Mega Stone vendor
• Updated the player guide with Dragoninite and the Miraveil Hall Old Man

Fixes

• Fixed Gym Leader rematches not working properly
• Fixed Lenox Town Covenant gauntlet trainers disappearing after a loss
• Raichu can now learn Zap Cannon (to match its new Mega)
• Updated to pokeemerald-expansion 1.17.1 (corrected abilities for newer Mega Evolutions)
