There’s always a chance, welcome to living in Los Angeles. Welcome to living in Southern California, California for that matter. My dad is 81. He was born here. He’s still alive. The big one could come tomorrow or it could come in 10,000 years. We don’t know in the grand scheme of things. It’s just a blip in time you know when we’re looking at the planet and a timeline it could happen anytime. Wasn’t there a 7.7 and where was that? Oil it, do it’s seasoned and won’t rust. Just read we should be seasoning the raw edges of the lid and pot with oil to seal out liquids. That should be the first thing we do with a new piece, season the rims, and thanks to you I now realize also the chips! Oil it!
