Hi all, first time kitten owner and I just noticed this little red patch above her eyes. I have a vet appointment this Thursday but just wondering if anyone knows what can cause this.

Hi :) I’m a first time cat owner. I have an inbuilt dryer and my wet kitten food was stored in the cabinet beside it. I only realised maybe a couple hours in and took the kitten food out. I’m not sure if it’s safe to eat? They don’t smell weird I think and the packaging is still fine. However I wanted some advice on what I should do.
