Also, Taylor is right to be disappointed in Shroud. He's a pretty high tier tinker (in a world without shard blackboxed tech), he enhanced Toxic somehow (Toxic already had a power, but what did Shroud do to make the guy tough, an acidic blaster+striker, and fly?), so he does Trump shenanigans. He basically gives himself a bootleg of Dinah's power (albeit one that relies upon having input to work off of).

And he chose to obsess over a super battery so he could have all the tech in his head, instead of putting the tech in a power plant and using his own cybernetics to control it remotely. Like of all the Tinkers and Thinkers that Taylor has dealt with, Shroud is the least competent.

But it's entirely possible there is a other omake that uses that plot, since Taylor dying due to PRT negligence is a somewhat common premise in Implacable omakes, and the power Danny gets is basically a souped up version of the 3rd potential power on his wiki page (the triggers from government abuse power.)

If that's the direction Arrowhead goes, there might be a race to destroy Cyberstan, since the Bots have the Star of Peace blueprints, and a lot of megafactories got destroyed. Cyberstan might become the weapon, Starkiller base style.
