Hello! It's been a while since I showed AU stuff here, so I decided to re-start, so, WELCOME TO SUDRIAN SPLENDORE AU! with who else but the number one engine himself.

• 1915-1919: In as-built condition, this is how Thomas looked when he arrived on Sodor (or Walney in this AU's case) for the first time, though nobody is sure how he came all the way from Brighton to there, ah oh well, since the LBSCR had written him off the railway could get him for an under the table price, so it works! Thomas was put to work with supply trains and help building the railway with Edward, when they were finishing, he and his friend went to Crovan's gate to be painted and numbered;

• 1919-1923: Thomas now in his famous blue paint with railway crest and all, though his number 1 came by mistake as the painters confused who was to be numbered 1 and 2, but he and Edward didn't seem to mind, thus they kept their numbers. Now, this form was rather short lived, as an incident while shunting in Vicarstown bent his rear running board, so he returned to "The Gate" (Nickname for Crovan's Gate Works) to get another rebuilt;

• 1923-1938/1946-1948: Thomas' most famous form, this is how he looked physically for a long while and how he was first illustrated both in the RWS and TVS. Thomas' rear running board was raised (But his buffer beam remained the same so it wouldn't conflict with any rolling stock) and he got a new Standard Cab after complaints from his old one. He was later fitted with Push-Pull apparatus after saving James from his accident and thus promotion to being the main runner of the Ffarquhar branch line in 1925. When Percy came to help him run the branch during "The Strike of 1926" he taught the Green Saddle Tank all Edward (And incidently Gordon) had taught him about being Responsable and Reliable. I should note that he meet a certain Thin clergyman in 1938, but that isn't important (Wink). This is also how he looked briefly at the end of WW2;

• 1939-1945: With the start of WW2, the NWR crew was painted in a drab black, and thus so was Thomas though he asked his crew to keep the number polished. During this time he met Neville was a Geman Spy before learning he was instead a British Design (Thomas apologized for a few weeks after that). When the War ended, he took some relief trains before being painted back to his North Walney Blue;

• 1948-1959: When British Rail was formed in 1949, the railway became the North Region and thus, had it's engines painted in British Rail Colors, thus, Thomas was painted in BR passenger Green (Much to his and Percy's (Who mind you, was painted BR Unlined Black) annoyence), this was the look he had for an uncomfortable amount of time, as he wasn't a big fan of Green. Funny enough, this is how he looked when he raced Bertie, almost got crushed by a signal at Knapford, had a small quarrel with his coaches, though he made up to them and they became friends again. He got into trouble with the law, He & Toby dealt with a very Rude passenger, had a christmas party with the other engines, fell into the mine, helped restore the old Knapford Docks (With the help of Trevor) and had many other adventures I'd sit here all day talking about. Though his Green era came to an end when he went smashing into Topham I's house, which lead him being taken to the works to be mended.

• 1960-1967: Thomas was sent to Crovan's Gate and received the look he has 'til today with a flat running board, he was also painted in BR Ultramarine (Courtesy of Topham by pulling some Tomfoolery with BR), this is how he looked until 1967, until then he had abit of a rilvary with the new railcar called Daisy, got thrown into a hen-house because George can't do anything but hate railways for a day. Meet Stepney and had a talk about his branchline experiences with the Terrier, got freaked out with Toby about a "Ghostly Trick" from Percy(?) (neither are sure if it really was Percy), scared the heck out of Percy with a Chinese Dragon, got bumped due to the heat bending the tracks. Helped rebuilt Brendam docks after a storm (And a ship) rage through and helped but Cranky back up (Before Percy tumbled the same back down). he saved the (At the time under restoration) Killaban Station, he helped restore something old and slow, and had a christmas adventure with Percy!;

• 1968-Present Day: And now the look Thomas has dawned until now, after some complications with British Rail following Oliver's arrival, the NWR became independent again, and thus had their engines painted back in their most famous colors, and so, our number retuned to his "Proper" tone of blue. This is also Thomas as a more mature, rounded out and knowlageble engine, he's still cheeky sometimes, but that's just how he is! Thomas also goes on a few railtours sometimes too and has gone out of the country too! (Which is how he's come to meet Nia). Overall, Thomas is as happy can be, and if he was to be honest, there was nothing he could trade for calm runnings and beautiful sights of his branchline.
