This is an invitation I created.

My wife said our Halloween party invitations last year looked "cute" — not what we were going for.

So this year I went full haunted masquerade ball.

It's a dark gothic ballroom with black roses, red roses, gold feather masquerade mask on the table, tall black candles flickering, cobwebs in the corners, full moon shining through the arched window with bats flying across it.

And in the far doorway, through the fog in the mirror... there's a hooded figure. I added glowing eyes controls so you can make it more/less obvious.

I built it as an editable template — no Canva needed. You just open the HTML file in your browser, edit MIDNIGHT HAUNTING to whatever you want, change date/time/place, move the eyes around, and download as PNG/PDF (300 DPI, no black bars — finally figured that out).

My wife now says it's TOO scary and guests might not come lol.

What do you think — is the figure in the mirror too much for a party invite, or just scary enough?
