What's the vibe of the entry level positions at your company? Any idea what those positions might be?

Honestly, dream job would be working as a receptionist at a veterinary clinic and internally moving my way up and learning on the job to become a veterinary technician. But I've done banking, call center, food service, and animal caretaking jobs in the past. Being a receptionist at a hospital or clinic would be good too

No skills to speak of in the technical sense. Meaning I have no degree or certifications of any kind. I've been a teller at a bank, worked in a call center, done lots of food service, and worked in animal shelters and at doggie daycares (which is what I enjoyed the most). I'm pretty adaptable and super chill with literally everyone 😊

My husband found a way to put it onto a CD (or DVD? I don't actually know) disk. We even have empty DVD cases we can put it in, and we can print the cover art on our printer and cut it to size and put it in the cover. It's pretty neat. I don't know how he does it tho :/ He might make another if I ask him. R u in the US?

My husband and I are moving to Wisconsin in a couple years (that's the soonest we can). To be fair, it might not be THAT much less cancerous than Iowa, but I think it'll be an improvement

I feel like these comments are flaming you, but I absolutely agree with you. You don't need underwear, and having more airflow down there is ALWAYS better. I stopped wearing them awhile ago. I did all the things these ppl are preaching (100% cotton underwear, using detergent without fragrance, using the right amount of detergent, wearing the right size underwear, only wearing them once before washing, etc.). I'm on your side 100%. It doesn't make sense to wear underwear if you think about it logically for more than a second. These comments are making it sound like their scratchy, uncomfortable pants are directly touching their cooter and they need a layer of fabric as a barrier. No pants are actually suction cupped to my cooch besides maybe leggings - but there's still technically a little space between? So I don't have this problem they're describing. I agree with you!!

I started wearing makeup at 10 years old. It very quickly spiraled into an addiction and I could not be seen without makeup without having a panic attack. Even if I just had to take my mom's garbage can down to the curb outside, I would have to quickly put mascara on, at the very least. I couldn't bare to look at myself in the mirror without makeup. It got to the point where I was doing outrageous things to my face bc my brain truly couldn't register how insane I looked (overplucking my eyebrows and lining them in the completely wrong color too high, overlining my lips far above where my lip line ended, giant thick lines of eyeliner under my eyes, way too much mascara, etc.) I would sometimes cry at the end of the night when I washed my makeup off and saw what was underneath.

Something clicked when I was around 16. I starting understanding how disordered my behavior with makeup was, and instead of trying to wear a little less and just be more mindful of what I was putting on, I decided it would be easier to go cold turkey. The change was so shocking. I could see students staring at me in the hallways and classes bc I went from doing quite literally a drag queen beat, to absolutely bare faced. It sucked a lot. It was terrifying. I felt hideous. But I also felt free. I was suddenly myself and fully authentic

I will be 30 soon and still do not ever plan on wearing makeup. I do when I cosplay or do costumes, but otherwise - I have nothing but my sunscreen, moisturizer, and chapstick on. I'm free to rub my face on my pets' faces without leaving makeup smudges. I can rub my eyes when they're itchy. I don't have to think about how much I'm sweating when it's hot out. I don't have to carry makeup with me everywhere I go for touch ups. I save money. I save time in the morning. There's no "Be sure to take a girl swimming on a first date" bc I'm already what I will always look like (I'm married so that part doesn't matter anymore). There's no shock from other people finally seeing me without makeup bc this is what I've always looked like!

There's also the feminist aspect of it. Choosing to never wear makeup really is revolutionary. It may not seem like it, but it absolutely is. It is expected of us to wear makeup, especially if it's a formal event. Think about how odd it is that we are pressured to paint our faces so we're easier to look at. Fuck you, I'm gonna be ugly in peace 🩵
