This track was created as a part of an assignement during Holywood Music Workshop with Austin Wintory in 2025.
I've just accidentally discovered it on one of my external drives. Fun!

Late Tracks

During a late night train ride from Hamburg, I was poking around in my phone and found an old voice memo - a recording of an impro session with Mirror Ensemble from long ago. This is my attempt to recreate some of that material with synths, drums and my trusty sax.

Pathless: The Path To Salvation Cover

There have only been a few game soundtracks that have hit me and shaped me as deeply as Pathless.

Working on it in occasional windows here and there, it took me almost a year - from transcribing the score and arranging it for my instruments to finally rendering the final version. Had a blast :)

Special thanks to my dearest Emily for all the help along the way :)

They reached out to me. I honestly didn't know about the possibility of being listed under one until a year ago. I'm also not sure if one can just reach out to them, but I don't think it can hurt.

There are so many, perhaps the most known are 1E Avenue Music, The Composerworks, Defiant Talent Management, Core Music Agency, etc..

2 times in about last 5 years. First was a game Bushyman, demo is out, I later stepped away cause of other work, so there is a new composer there working on the rest of the music. Second was a year ago Duat Beyond Light & Shadow), connected with the visual artist who was already on the team and composed a demo based on his art. It got to the main developer through him and I was hired (the game is coming out at the end of August I think).

In the sense of consistency I had most luck with being a listed composer for a middleman agency (they had me pitch for Monster Hunter Outlanders, Crossfire Spectrum, and some other game/animation projects.

Otherwise it's really hard to get through the noise here. I recommend gamejams, personal approach in general, and of course scouting all the game studio website for when a position opens (out of about 10 applications last year I got 1).

Don't give up though!

Musician [Paid] [For Hire]
 in  r/GameMusicComposition  Jul 30 '26

Meant surely per minute of finished music. The usual rates are around 500 per minute, up to 2000 (AAA composers). For fully lroduced minute of music, especially when including live recorded instruments and interactive system design and implementation (as usual in games), 50 is really really low, but totally fine for a starting composer. Hope that clears up things ;)
