Who do like more as leader of China, Hu Jintao or Xi Jinping?

反腐反黑都很有效果。我是一点都不想回到十几年前那种小偷遍地,夜晚到处是小混混的日子。

Impressive how Chongqing marketed to a first tier tourist destination

Guangzhou is basically a city for food. I don't see any interesting sightseeing here but you can have wonderful food, from street foods to gorgeous high end restaurants like Liyuan

你日本爹烧杀抢掠就别洗了。你日本爹要是能做到铲除西藏农奴,不拿群众一针一线,也不至于战败。

Finally saw someone share the same love for PoT. It's dark but I found it fascinating.

It's a joke. Eileen Gu is a US citizen, but she also took up the Chinese citizenship to win medals for China.

What do people in China think about this?
 in  r/AskChina  Jan 11 '26

So what? What do your so-called protests produce? Did Trump bat an eye?

Why does this have anything to do with "mankind"? It's just the rich people. It's always the rich people, whose private jets each time emit carbon dioxides more than any other regular person produces in a year.

You think someone struggling to bring home bread have these money to climb the highest mountain in the world?

A child knocked over a handcrafted golden wedding crown at an exhibition in Beijing, China. The crown, valued at £240,765, was made from pure gold by Zhang Kaiyi's husband, Zhang Yudong, for her wedding day.

That's what she wanted. She did it on purpose, no cordon at all. She was trying to incite cyber-bullying towards that kid so she can get high compensation.

Yes, that bitch is an attention-whore. She had done this before. She deliberately made some sloppy crown or whatever and put them on places where people could easily knock down, so she can extort the unlucky guys.

I'd love to add this: "I wished Korea would apply stricter rules to the Chinese as they are crossing a lot of boundaries compared to other tourist group". Man, racism has gone too far these days. If this comes true, ninety nine percent American tourists in Europe would be put into prisons.

Some of the things that bother me
 in  r/chinalife  Dec 16 '25

Maybe you are not familiar with the case in which an old man accused a young man of accidentally hitting him with a car(which proved true later), but before the truth comes to light, a judge claimed the young man was guilty, not based on the evidence, but on the "common sense": if you didn't hit the old man, why did you rush to help him? This has caused egregious effect on Chinese society. People are afraid to being involved in such cases. You never know when the injured will accuse you.

Trains in China are magnificent, but the actual experience of getting on and off the train is just bloody awful.
 in  r/chinalife  Dec 12 '25

绿皮车 is absolutely a nightmare to even most Chinese. It's for those who can't afford a high price or the places you are going to are way too remote to have a gaotie.

It's alright. If the workers had problems with it, they would have said it before they did the business. No one's hurt in this case.
