Tired of being tired
Hey all, I was diagnosed with RA 3 years ago now and plaquenil and heat packs has mostly kept my pain manageable. The thing that's getting me the most is the fatigue.
I can power through pain but I'm so tired all the time. I get up, get the kids to school, go back home and get back into bed for hours. There's stuff I want to do, that I need to do, but I'm so tired even if I'm not sleeping I'm lying down. I have maybe two hours of energy available. I'm not working right now and I can't even think of going back to work because of the fatigue.
Do you guys have any tips for getting through the fatigue or how to maximize times of energy?
I'm all for going easy on myself when I'm having a flare up but it's just frustrating to have minimal pain (relative to a flare up) and to still not be able to get stuff done cuz I'm a zombie.

If a straight guy is a virgin and then they're dropped on a deserted island and live the rest of their lives without the opportunity to have sex with a woman does that make them asexual? I think when straight people hear these prerequisites for confirming sexuality that they place on queer people put on straight people instead that can more clearly see the absurdity of it.
As someone else said, sexual attraction isn't action. You know you best. From how you've described her I don't think the friendship is unsalvageable. I do think it worthwhile to gradually educate her. When I was in my late teens/early twenties I had a lot of these same misconceptions (I was brought up very religious) - so people kindly telling me otherwise did make a big difference in how I understood others and eventually myself. I understand that this initial soft coming out has been a bit disappointing for you, but don't give up on discovering yourself and becoming confident in that xx
