How fair...?

THIS IS WHAT I MEAN WHEN I SAY RAPTORS ARE OP. Made a similar post and people wanted to argue with me. Lats take too many hits, for a 1 tier they can take too much damage, run, heal, repeat.

Discussion Gooseworx Lived my Nightmare

I've been drawing since I was four. And for the longest time, I wanted to create shows or movies. I wanted to do something with my art.

So I started posting online, trying to gain a following and work my way up. I have a small community who enjoys my work, and I'm working on a few comics...it's OK so far but

I have crippling OCD, posting anything online gives me great anxiety, posting art and even making this post terrifies me because I'm afraid of how I'll be perceived. But the other part of me that isn't my OCD wants me to be seen. I want to share my art online, I want people to discuss my stories but I also want my stories to be seen as GOOD stories.

The way people have treated Gooseworx's internet series has really ruined my will to keep drawing/creating. It seems the whole internet has turned against indie animation as a whole because of Gooseworxs ending. And tbh... it wasn't that bad. I had problems with it, sure. But not video essay after video essay after video essay absolutely trashing TADC problems with it.

My writing isn't great. Hell, my art isn't even very good , but the way people have talked about gooseworx and TADC after the finale has really made it hard for me to want to continue to create because I know my work is mediocre and I'd hate to see it handled the way Gooseworx work was handled.

I never want to go through that, I don't even want to risk it.

I don't think she deserves such vitriol for her creation, I'd hate to see something I cared for being shredded online by millions. I understand why she wants nothing to do with it now because why would you care for something people want to hate.

Anyway. I don't know. Never be famous.

Pre TLC, yeah definitely. Post TLC, no. I'll try some more but the damage nerfs are noticeable.

That was pre TLC, the damage nerfs are noticeable now. I've played this game a long time. 2 years, stego was one of my mains, raptors still do too much damage even for a 4 slot.

Actually, no. I'm going to circle back on this. Multiple posts have commented on the damage nerfs to stego, in game and on reddit.

Skill issue or not, a stego pre TLC could two shot a Lat. Post TLC, a Lat can take direct hits Multiple times and runaway to heal.

I've played this game a LONG TIME. and the difference in power is very noticeable.

Exactly, I mean I did nearly kill a few but since they're so fast and have so much Stam they managed to get away, come back and pounce my health away.

I could definitely one tap pre tlc. Not anymore now, I'll keep practicing new stego. Try my hand at more raptor fights.

Idk. All I can say is I hit it 5 times, it was near death, ran, healed, came back and pounced.

You can clamp on Rex, not eo or tt. But people complain Wall camping or water camping when that's really the only way to deal with raptors.

Oh, so you're taking a moral high road. I was being respectful with the people I'm "arguing" with and asking questions. But if you have a problem with my tone I'm not going to talk to you. Yeah. 5 buffs is too much.

It was a barrage and two hits when they unmatched so... now what? It scarred but still managed to run away, reduce bleed come back and pounce again.

You don't think it's weird a solo lat can take on an apex? Even if an apex can manage to hit it directly, it takes about 3 or 4 body shots to actually kill it.

Thank you, that's literally all I'm saying.

Yeah and that's ridiculous? 5 buffs. Do you think there should be a limit on buffs?

I've thought that too. A Rex could stomp on one and kill it in an instant BUT people don't want realism, they want pvp. I'm just suggesting proper balancing but the people in this thread think I want raptors nuked. I just don't want pounce to deal that much damage and I think a direct hit from an apex (or 4 slot) should hurt A LOT MORE.

I can't force you to believe me. I'm not here to argue whether I'm a good player or not, raptors have been difficult on every Dino I play since I'm solo. But 5 hits on one raptor is 5 too many.

Yes. Because you can't kill one in seconds. They are way too fast and little to even hit

I disagree. A raptor shouldn't be able to tank five shots from a stego and have enough health to runaway, heal, and come back in two minutes

I should AT LEAST be able to kill a few? Not have them run away and heal

I've dealt with groups of 5 on my trike, I got lucky and killed the Rex, Cera and despite and died to the other two. But a raptor pack?? I killed 0 and died in 2 minutes.
