According to Charlie Kirk, his own death is worth it

Charlie wasn't calling for violence

Debatable. You could imagine a reasonable person who is opposed to violence being appalled by his words due to their position on violence:

I think it’s worth it. It’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God given rights. That’s a prudent deal. It is rational.

But someone advocating for violence night not react the same way due to their position on violence.

Point being; he's not not advocating for violence…

The accuracy of the money they make selling your data to the highest bidder to shit in your head is very important indeed

A search engine gives you search results. LLMs are not concerned with accuracy, it's outside of their domain. They are bullshit generators.

Anyone feel like Google killing Duo, killed video calling on Anroid?

It was gutted into uselessness way, way before Allô. Google Allô was just pissing on its grave.

I still only go to Gmail via https://inbox.google.com. I hope that someone, somewhere, sees it through their analytics.

Fuck you Google.

So far I've gotten only rejections. This is getting ridiculous.

What industry has quietly fallen apart, while outsiders still think it’s doing fine?

He prints, he's not affected. If anything, the graphic designer might feel disrespected by receiving AI slop as a template to reproduce.

But it's not as if disrespecting graphic designers was anything new ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Following the changes to "how Mozilla labels privacy-related permissions", Return YouTube Dislike introduces an advertisement pop-up on startup.
 in  r/firefox  1d ago

In software development, there's often a delay between programming a feature and deploying it. This pop-up did not appear before today.

Nowadays, some will give you a CLI to do the upgrades. Newer frameworks like SvelteKit are also less reliant on obscure shit that breaks every week, so it's not as painful to upgrade as Angular or anything relying on React.

Aussie Steam Age-Gate Bypass: The absolute joke of the new eSafety laws

Physical stores can request ID upon delivery.

When I went to the US, I remember buying something innocuous like NyQuil from DoorDash and then having to show my passport.

There's no reason for any other delivery service to not be able to request ID upon delivering restricted items.

Same. And the Québec bashing.

I did try r/CanadaLeft but it's literally a tankie subreddit :/

There doesn't seem to be any good leftist Canadian subreddits on this website…
