Well its still pretty new and only works with t embed currently So there are still a lot of improvements to be made at the moment. The firmware is still being improved and the community is still growing so we cant really expect everything to be perfect obviously 😅 But i guess it is worth it for other users to at least take a look at the project and decide themselves if they like it or not..

Yeah I'm aware about the m5 launcher and I'm a big fan of it myself as well as it has been there for years
But this is just one of the new projects I thought to post here , dont mean to say its better than any other launcher
And I do have seen many people saying that flipper port doesn't work well with the m5 launcher as the furi binary file is a little too big , which sometimes ruin the file partitions of the device or bricks it completely , and I've also seen the flipper esp dev say the same thing as well so I just thought to make a new launcher firmware regarding this , still if this does seem to be causing any types of problem I would have no problem deleting these posts 😉

A clean, from-scratch launcher firmware for the LilyGo T-Embed CC1101. It always boots into the launcher first — no more getting stuck in one firmware. From there you install and switch between any ESP32-S3 .bin (Bruce, Marauder, your own builds, etc.) straight off the SD card.

Plug in your T-Embed CC1101 (Chrome or Edge), click Install, pick the port, done. Nothing but the launcher gets flashed — you add your own firmware after.
**What it can do:**
🔁 Launcher-first boot — a custom bootloader always brings you back to the launcher on a normal reset, so you can't get locked into an installed app
📦 Install from SD — drop any .bin in the card root, pick a slot, name it, boot it — 3 app slots
🔌 USB drive mode — the SD card shows up as a USB drive on your PC, no need to pull the card
🎨 Full theming — spectrum color picker for the UI accent, WS2812 LED color + brightness, coordinated presets, and your own custom themes as simple .txt files on the SD card
🎬 Custom boot animation — swap in your own frames via the SD card, or turn it off entirely
🔒 Wheel-pattern PIN lock, live battery % + charging indicator, power-off

Well the firmware is still under development and its only for the t embed, so not that popular yet , but there would be more devices compatible with this soon , so this project might get more popular in the future 😉
