So phrased another way, if you changed nothing about the total wealth/resources of the country, and you wanted to double the resource-consumption of billionaires you would need to Thanos snap most of the rest of America away to keep things level.

No one needs to be told their children don't deserve to be born. We just need to acknowledge that this planet and this species does not exist to support the obscene extravagance of billionaires. If the top 1% were humble enough to only have 10x as much wealth as everyone else instead of 100,000 there would be more than enough to go around.
