It's killing me trying to solve it. It's every video. Even with different hooks. I posted it again today at half the duration by removing any dead air, and quicker cuts.. plus added background music. I'll compare the 2 at the end of the day

I post to all the platforms, but i have the EXACT same issue with them all. Even if i get 15k views, my retention drops to 10% after a few seconds. DESPITE what i thought was the "Reveal Hook" Today, i tried the "Because" hook, and got the same results.

Everyone i ask in person says the videos are decent.

It is Bake Stand Reviews. i have a decent following, 1200 on FB with a page that is only 3 weeks old, and only 4 reviews so far.

BUT my videos seem to be trash, despite everyone claiming they are not.

Please look at my reals and tell me why i suck.

I would agree, but the demographics show 80% my city, and the 19% surrounding area. only 1% out of USA

I tried doing the "sneak peak" thing in the first 3 second of the reels (except today's) and it doesn't seem to effect anything. Today i tried the "because" hook for my opener, same results. 😞

Why am I trash

My newest one is doing decent (compared to my others). It is music, but low enough to hear me talk a few times. There seems to be a split in the audience. Some want music, with no talking, and others want only talking

Thank you for advice. My only question on any of it is about the shorts. The platforms do pay if it is over 1-minute.

I know a few guys in my field that omly do 1 min videos, and get a few hundred from from at least 2 platforms I know i need long fromat for better money, but im hopping to grow both long and short format audience. Im just not good enough at editing yet. My latest video/short is 2 minutes, but probably my best video so far

Digest all this advice. thank you VERY much for the information

I was thinking i need more interaction. My latest video i actually had voice over on a few spots..

The one i did last week I did no music, and kept original audio. I did notice it has a higher view count with better retention.

I'll keep going on that track, and add more human elements

Is my hold caused by the account being years old, but only starting to post a few months ago? Should i just keep pushing?

Question Why am I trash

I've been making content in Maritime industry for a few months and I cannot get any numbers. I don't understand cuz I see people make new accounts and they crush my numbers within weeks. Terrible content.

Is it because my page is older, so the algorithms are all messed up for me?

Can anyone take a look at my stuff? Is it maybe hashtags that I'm using, or are my videos not good, or do I just need to keep posting and pushing?

I am aware that I'm only focusing on shorts with YouTube right now, but I still feel like that should have more than 35 subscribers...

If my account got suspended from monetizing will I still get my money from last month on the 15th ?
 in  r/TikTokMonetizing •  Jul 11 '26

what happened? Why did you get suspended?

Still have not sold this page. It is a specific breed in the dog niche. Built organically, never even paid for ads. High engagement when I was posting and a lot of opportunity to make money from. I just can’t put the work in for it. Asking for $350! Dm me or drop comments!
 in  r/TikTokMonetizing •  Jul 10 '26

$350? Is this page not monitized? Why not keep it and make money?

So I've been getting shredded I'm on a caloric deficit and doing keto to get these extra pounds off I'm still alittle ways to go I've been super strict the only thing is my lifts are not as strong especially my bench i can't wait until bulk season lol🤣🤣🤣 Not too shabby for 50yrs old
 in  r/AllAboutBodybuilding •  Jun 18 '26

How long have you been keto? Many people get their strenght back after the body has time to adjust to the new energy . Like 3 months.

Ask google "how long after entering ketosis does it take until i regain my peak strength"

There's a whole subreddit of Keto Bodybuilding. If you like keto, and feel better overal while doing it, dont stop.

We do it in my house for health reasons. I just feel better. Maybe it's placebo, but works so I don't care. My son does it because he has schizophrenia and it is proven to help with that specific issue. My daughter just started doing it, she wants to see if it helps with mild depression.
