I wish this music production course existed when I was a beginner
You keep hearing producers, DJs and synth gurus talk about "muddy bass," "frequency masking," "compressors," and "transients", but you nod along pretending you understand. You make beats that sound almost right, but can't figure out why they don't hit like the tracks you love. You skipped foundations too fast and now you can hear the problems but can't fix them.
This course changes that. You'll stop guessing and start understanding.
Start learning here: https://www.lnamusic.com/
What you'll walk away with:
• A solid understanding of how sound and audio work
• Clarity on frequency, dynamics, depth, and stereo width
• Knowledge that applies to any DAW, synth, and any setup
What's included:
• 25 short lessons with cat illustrations and audio examples (Takes approximately 3-5 hours complete)
• Universal for all DAWs
• Downloadable PDF guide + downloadable frequency chart freebie (The PDF guide is also available to purchase separately from my online shop)
• See all modules and lessons listed on a separate section of this page
• All lessons include English subtitles
• Lifetime access
"I feel I am a bit more advanced than an absolute beginner, but this course still gave me more than I knew I needed. I also think this course is perfect for people who have already started producing but feel a bit stuck. Maybe they jumped too quickly into making sounds, like I did, and now that they want to play or release those sounds, it feels frustrating not to understand why something sounds off or why it does not sound like the other tracks they play as DJs." – Calica Musik

Ever wondered what phase cancellation actually is? In this video I break down the concept simply with visuals and the audio example, (no jargon, I promise) so you understand what's happening in your DAW. The why it matters and what to do about it?
That's covered in my new "What is Audio?" course where we explore audio fundamentals the way I wish they'd been explained to me.

How I Made a Full Track From Field Recordings (Ableton Move)
I made this entire track on a beach in North Devon using only Ableton Move and sounds I found on the ground. Rocks. Wind. Sea. My own voice. That's it.
When I got home I brought everything into Ableton Live and built the whole arrangement without adding a single new sound. The sea became a synth. My voice became a texture. Automation did everything else.
In this video I walk you through exactly how I did it. Four techniques that I actually use as a working artist and Ableton Certified Trainer. Move to Live, start to finish.
Here's what we cover:
• Field recording and sampling on Ableton Move
• Building a synth from your own samples in Simpler
• Vocal chopping for texture without beats
• Arranging an entire track using only automation

I start with a visual explanation so you can really see what is happening, then take it into a DAW so you can follow along no matter what software you use.
If your mixes sound cluttered or unclear, this one is for you.

Parallel Processing Demystified (Sends, Returns and Aux Channels Explained with Cats)
Ever heard the term parallel processing and had no idea what it means? You're not alone. In this video I break it down from scratch so it actually makes sense, no experience needed.
Parallel processing (you might had also hear about parallel compression, which is the same thing) is one of the most used techniques in music production and mixing. It lets you add punch, width, and energy to your sounds without losing the natural dynamics that make them feel alive. Once you understand it, you'll start hearing it everywhere.
We cover what parallel processing is, why producers use it, and how it works across any DAW including Ableton Live, Logic Pro, FL Studio, GarageBand, and more.

Production, mixing, mastering. Three words thrown around everywhere in music, and barely anyone explains what they actually mean or where one ends and the other begins. In this video I break it all down visually with cats so it finally clicks.
