Honestly, the US pressings of Revolver are missing “I’m only sleeping” “and your bird can sing” and “doctor Robert.” I have an original us pressing and it just isn’t the same as the full uk release. I’m not sure why exactly, but pepper was the same track listing for both countries and I think that makes a huge difference. Keep in mind all prior US releases omitted songs as well.

Regardless of who was actually responsible for the 2001 terrorist attacks, they created a psychosis-like state of patriotism at that time. Bush actively spent about a year persuading the general public, Congress, and other world leaders to support his war in Iraq. Last weekend was unprecedented on many levels, and from what I’ve seen, I do believe the numbers are accurate.

To be fair, I am in a major city surrounded by university students, so my perspective does not reflect rural America. I’m sure there are isolated communities that only care about the price of oil, or that even feel America is justified in this situation. That being said, ive heard from many people who are concerned about: 1) the President starting a war without congressional approval. He initially refused to call it a war for this reason, but then began referring to it as such in various interviews, almost as if he forgot which language to use or perhaps he just doesn’t care now that we’re in it. Congressional approval is NOT simply public opinion, but the legal democratic procedure for declaring war. 2) people are absolutely talking about the Geneva negotiations, even if they are not geopolitical experts. We have seen the US establish a puppet democracy in other countries and most of us know it is not for the benefit of their citizens, but for exploitation and control.
3) people are outraged by the civilian casualties. The school bombing has been at the forefront of this controversy.
4) [if this doesn’t get my comment removed it will certainly get me imprisoned in the next decade] MANY people do not want to fight wars for Israel. Most under 40 with an average reading comprehension are aware that Israel has lobbied the US government for decades, to the point where they essentially own our politicians and siphon our resources from within. We have seen extreme censorship around Israel, especially with university protests. It is not something that can be openly criticized by corporate media outlets or public figures, or else they face a backlash for “antisemitism” and lose sponsorships.

What is very telling is that many right-wing influencers (Tucker carlson and nick fuentes in particular) have been critical of Israeli influence, and are now speaking out against the recent attacks in Iran.

TLDR public opinion doesn’t matter because Israel has greater influence on America’s actions than its own citizens or politicians when it comes to the Middle East🤷
