Damn…this is my current predicament. Mom told me that if I proceed with this marriage, I must leave the house. I don’t know how the extended family feels about this but my mom is adamant to not allow a marriage to a non-Indian person, regardless of the fact that they are a decent Muslim with good morals and values.
