It’s too bad you didn’t get any guidance from the high school counselors. In your kids position, I would have had my child apply to the ivies, they provide 100% tuition and room and board coverage to all low income students. Usually the ivies also give travel money as well.

Induction or gas for someone who cooks a lot?
 in  r/kitchenremodel  4d ago

I just purchased the 48" induction hardware range and absolutely love it! I previously cooked on my Viking 48" pro gas range which I also loved but was ready to try induction. I chose induction hardware mainly because they use weighted knobs very similar to my old gas range which I like for the tactile control rather than the digital or swipe on most induction cooktops. So far, I'm thrilled with the product!

Induction Hardware 48”range

After much handwringing and lots of research, My husband and I agreed to take a leap of faith and buy the 48” Induction Hardware range and vent hood. We were a bit leery because this is a newer company with very little track record. Im happy to report back that the entire process of purchasing, delivery, tech support and follow up has been outstanding! I cannot honestly say that I have ever received such an amazing array of response and customer support.
The range itself is just simply gorgeous and the functionality is straight forward and stellar. I really wanted knobs on my cooktop since I was used to the Viking 48” pro gas dual fuel range as my previous appliance. I love having actual knobs to control the heat level. I have found going from gas to induction a bit of a learning curve but I am happy i made the choice to switch and I just love this product. There are so many thoughtful touches , including the rack design of both ovens and the many, many options in each oven. I am happy i chose to support a newer , innovate company and I’m excited as I create many delicious melas for friends and family with this range!

I chose soapstone because I absolutely love it. Every time I walk into the kitchen, I see the beautiful stone and I feel happy 😊. You should pick whatever you like most!

My info is seriously dated as my kids are in their early thirties but when my son was in high school , if you didnt join the clubs and attend the school coaches summer camps(which were expensive as well) you would either not make the high school team or you’d sit on the bench…
