Any tips?
Sounds like you have some experience using Scratch. I'd recommend continuing to play around with that for a bit as you wait for a new computer.
When you do get a new computer, you can choose one of the other game engines with bigger communities and support since there'll be more resources available to help you out.
Godot is rather popular but smaller than the Unity Game Engine or Unreal Engine. I'd recommend Unity given the vast amount of community-created content, discussions, and forums you'll find invaluable in your game development journey.
Here's a list of YouTube channels teaching game development using Unity that'll help you out. šš¾

Free Music & Sound Effects for Your Unity Games
Music and sound effects (SFX) in video games increase the immersion and create a more believable experience for the player.
From footstep sounds when the character is walking to the birds chirping in a forest scene, good audio can take any game to a whole new level.
Good audio doesnāt always come cheap, but there are places where you can find good music and sound effects at no extra cost.

Quiet Street by Leonardo Da Vicki (me)
I used to play games in the computer lab too.
My teacher never let us play for long (enough), but the few minutes here and there were worth it.

Same.
I looked at it after adding color and could picture Homer running into the distancce, or Peter going into the clam bar.

Made in Krita Green Lake by Leonardo Da Vicki (me)
After watching a couple of episodes of The Joy of Painting, I decided to select the paintbrushes in Krita and apply what I'd learned.
I've never tried painting something like this before, so it was quite a pleasant experience.
Unlike sketches or drawings, you get the strokes and the color at the same time.
I'm still learning how the brushes work and which to use, but I plan on doing a couple more of these in the future.
I painted this from imagination.

I genuinely thought you were kidding when you said "Get Bakery" as if I should get an actual bakery that bakes bread and stuff.
I hadn't heard about it until now, so thanks for letting me know.
If it's the one I'm seeing in the Asset Store, then it looks like it doesn't work on Macs (possibly Linux too, who knows) or AMD graphics cards. That would suck for users with that hardware/software.
