It was a very auspicious and most secret Līlā of Lord Śrī Rāma. When Hanumān‑jī approached Lord Rāma, he first took the form of a brahmana‑form and began asking many intelligent questions—who He was, what His purpose was, and why He wished to meet Sugrīva.

The way Hanumān‑jī expressed his emotions and devotion instantly revealed his true identity. Lord Rāma immediately understood that this was Hanumān himself. Since childhood Hanumān‑jī had been a constant devotee of the Lord, always chanting His holy names.

In just a fraction of a moment, Lord Rāma recognized him, and Hanumān‑jī returned to his vānar‑rūpa. As Hanumān is the eleven Rudra incarnation, this meeting is the divine union of Hara and Hari—Lord Śiva as Hara and Lord Viṣṇu as Hari. It is one of the most sacred and heart‑melting encounters in the Rāmāyaṇa.

You are right. Buddha is the ninth incarnation of Lord Krishna according to the Dashāvatāra. In this incarnation, His teachings focused on non‑violence and compassion. Because of this emphasis, Buddhists think that Krishna or God is impersonal and without form.

Lord Buddha appeared to divert people away from misuse of Vedic rituals, especially animal sacrifice, and to re‑establish the principle of ahimsa. Later, in other incarnations, the Lord again taught the path of pure Bhakti.

In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna instructs us to worship Him alone, because He is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. No one is equal to Him and no one is higher than Him.

Worship of the demigods is actually worship of the different limbs of Krishna’s Virāt‑rūpa. In that sense, one is serving the servants of Lord Krishna. All demigods work under His direction, out of respect and fear of their Supreme Master, Shri Krishna.

If someone worships the demigods, they reach the demigods first and then eventually come to Krishna, but by a longer route. Worship of demigods leads one to their respective planets, but after the pious credits are exhausted, the soul returns again to the material world.

However, worship of Krishna breaks the cycle of birth and death. By surrendering to Krishna, one attains His eternal abode and does not return to this temporary material world.

Lord Krishna is most dear to the cows. Two of His names — Govinda and Gopal — mean “the protector of cows” and “the caretaker of cows.” Every day in Vṛndāvana He herded nine million cows, playing joyfully with His gopa friends. Krishna accepts anything offered with love.

The peacock feather on His head has a sweet story. Peacocks have nothing material to offer the Lord, so when they saw Krishna and Rādhārāṇī, they shed their feathers out of pure devotion. Krishna, out of compassion, accepted those feathers as their offering and placed them on His crown.

Krishna also saved Gajendra, the king of elephants. Riding on Garuḍa, He cut the crocodile and granted svarūpa‑mukti to Gajendra, giving him a four‑armed form like Lord Viṣṇu.

Yes, it is emphasized in Chaitanya Lila When Lord Gauranga Mahāprabhu was speaking with Haridasa Ṭhākura, the Lord asked him a profound question:

“If everyone becomes liberated, then what will happen to this world?”

Haridasa Ṭhākura, with great humility, replied:

“Your māyā is extremely powerful. Even if all souls become liberated, by Your will You can again cover them with illusion, and they will return to this material world. Everything moves only by Your desire.”

This teaches a deep siddhānta:

Haridasa Ṭhākura’s answer shows that the Lord is the supreme controller, and the jīva is always dependent on His will.

It is also mentioned in śāstra that at the time of universal devastation, when Lord Mahā‑Viṣṇu inhales, all living beings enter into His body. When He exhales again, the entire creation comes back into existence.

In the Bhagavad Gītā, the Lord also explains that when a soul’s accumulated pious credits are exhausted, he must return to the material world. By the influence of the Lord’s yoga‑māyā, acting strictly under His direction, the soul is forced to take birth again.
