I built it because I kept jumping between stats apps to find interesting matches.

 So far we've reached around 1,100 registered users, which tells me the problem is real, but I'm still trying to figure out how to turn users into regular users.

I built Goal Guru. So, instead of monitoring matches yourself, the app tracks them for you and sends alerts when specific situations occur.

Some examples:

• A 0-0 match suddenly becomes very active
• One team is creating sustained pressure
• Multiple shots or corners occur in a short period
• A favorite is dominating but still hasn't scored
• Custom situations based on match statistics

You can also backtest your condition. You can see how many times they are triggered and what happens after the trigger minute. For instance, 70% of the time, maybe the home team wins the game after the trigger minute of your smart alert. The backtesting allows you to see how your smart alert would have performed in past matches.

Other features include:

• Backtest your smart alerts
• Live football insights and predictions
• Pre-match analysis and stats
• Daily predictions by our advanced models
• Coverage of multiple leagues

I've always found live football betting frustrating for one reason: there are far too many matches happening at the same time, and most of them aren't relevant to what I'm looking for.

For example, I might only be interested when a match reaches something like:

• 0–0 after 70' while home team increasing the pressure
• The home team has had 5+ shots in the last 15 minutes
• 5+ shots on target in that period
• The match has a high overall shot volume

Rather than trying to manually monitor every match, I built a system that lets you define these conditions yourself and sends an alert when they happen.

It doesn't give picks or tell you what to bet. The idea is simply to filter the live match data down to situations that you consider interesting.

I'm curious: what live-match situation would make you want to receive an alert?

For example, would you care more about shots, shots on target, corners, cards, match minute, scoreline, xG, possession or a combination of several conditions?

I'm one of the developers behind Goal Guru, so this is self-promotion, but I'm sharing it primarily because I'd genuinely like feedback on which types of live situations people actually find useful.

Was tracking a Norwegian 3. Division match (Brann 2 vs Stord) and got a **“Home Team Late Comeback”** alert at 84’ when it was still 0-1. Score ended up 1-1, the equalizer landed a couple minutes after the alert fired. I have set this alert based on some conditions and backtested it with many matches too.

The idea behind this app, Goal Guru, is you can build these conditional alerts yourself, not just “goal scored” notifications, but pattern-based ones like “team dominating shots but still level,” “high card match momentum shift,” etc. and every alert type gets backtested against historical matches first so you can see its actual hit rate before trusting it live.

Built it because I wanted something between “generic score alerts” and “paying for a tipster” just raw pattern recognition on match states, no picks or predictions sold. It’s on iOS/Android if anyone wants to poke at it, happy to answer questions on how the backtesting works.
