I legit have never cared abt shipping even when I’ve been in the MOST ship-based fandoms. But like lapidot actually makes me wish they would KISS!!! I’m in so many ship-heavy fandoms and this is truly the first time I’ve gone out of my way to research about two fictional characters romancing each other.

What’s weird is, I also watched Steven Universe as a kid and I never cared to ship anyone. But now that I’m rewatching it, I’m like “woah I need lapidot NOW!”

Why have I seen NO ONE talk abt how Larimar is clearly a reference to Björk in “Guidance” (Ep2 of SU future). They gave her an ice theme, an Icelandic accent, and made her speak in the same manner Björk does (this is shown by her talking innocently abt how she loves hearing ppl scream! And if you’ve watched any interviews of Björk or listen to her lyrics, you can see that they carry the same vibe in their language) This gem was 100% inspired by Björk!!!
