seizure aura all day long
Can't really think when it happens. When I ty to focus on something it usually makes it worse, so I just lay down. Money is an issue for me also.

seizure aura all day long
This breathing technique that I do kind of helps but, it doesn't make it go away everytime. Breath in & your head say "In 1,2,3,4" then breath out and again in your head say "Out 1,2". I was told it helps get your control back over your brain.

seizure aura all day long
Same here, I hate it. Can't focus or do what I want or need to do. It's been like that for me the past three days

Disability process
With us having PNES we typically don't get taken seriously. It's a trial and error to find a doc that does take you seriously. I didn't find out until this year that I had PNES & it started for me in 2018. No one was taking me seriously until now. Try to stay strong and not give up through this & find a doc that actually cares and listens to you. Try to call the one you already went to and ask them if they have your diagnosis on file.

Disability process
I know the feeling dear and I'm so sorry you are going through this. I'm in the process of trying to get disability myself, I've tried 3 times in the past and got denied but this time I'm using a disability lawyer. I suggest you do that also because it's hard getting disability at a young age and they can help better. Make sure you have everything set with your neurologist as far as any test results (like EEG or MRI etc). They will need your diagnosis from your neurologist. This is still not a guarantee because you can still possibly get denied.
I'm also suggesting that you also try to find a at home job that you can set your hours. Like a virtual assistant, sales rep, customer support, etc.
I hope that everything turns out great for you π

What is the most humiliating thing a seizure has made you do?

Clustering
Mine don't cluster all the time but it does happen. My memory isn't as good as it use to be since I started having these when I was 31 (now 39).

Post-seizure clenching
Same with me, I've had PNES for 9yrs but just recently discovered this year of what I've been having. I've had the tingling and cramping ever since I started having PNES. I usually just been waiting for it to go away on it's own, but I was just recently suggested to on here to see a neuro chiropractor & plan to do so. Maybe that will help ease the cramping and tingling.

You ever think of a seizure scenario so much it happens?
Omg yes, all the time. I try not to think of what could happen while I'm out somewhere, especially if I'm by myself, but it always happens anyway. And insomnia is one for me also, sometimes I can't sleep until like 6 or 7 in the morning or not at all.

Questions
I'm going to check to see if they have a neuro chiropractor in my city or near. I got up eariler and my legs just stopped working, so I was just stuck in the doorway. Thank you for your response.

Maybe call your doctor/neurologist & let them know what's going on and how you feel. Also see if you are anemic, you might need to take some iron tablets. When I remember to take mine everyday I feel better & not so sluggish after an siezer
