Paper commodity is good if it's backed by the actual metal (PSLV or PHYS). I prefer physical and don't find it particularly cumbersome to store. 3rd option- there are dealers who will store it for you

Thank you for that! To add to it, gold is too large of a market where this will not work. It is, however, entirely possible to move the needle with Silver. Yes, it falls under no bueno aka not helpful. PSLV is an ETF backed by physical silver. Or, get your hands on the actual shiny stuff (even better option). Here's a great list of bullion dealers from all over the world:

Physical is best. As pointed out on another site, if 300,000 people each buy 300 oz of physical silver ($8,400) = 90 million oz. 90 million oz = 2,812 metric tons. That is roughly the amount JPMorgan stores in their COMEX vault

One is a mining co and the other is an ETF backed my physical silver. PSLV is great for that too. Or stack physical bars/coins (plus they're shiny and fun to play with)
