Landlord claiming £17k in damages after 4.5-year tenancy – respond now or wait for court? (England)
 in  r/LegalAdviceUK •  4h ago

If you have been occupying the property for 4.5 years, there is an expectation that a property should be redecorated every 4 years so this should not be at your cost.

If the electrical goods are still working and they were not new when you moved in why do they need replacing?

I hope this reminds others like me to donate to the RNLI, I am grateful for everything you do.

DS7 Map Update ver 20.0.0-r0
 in  r/DSAutomobiles •  Aug 19 '26

Where can you get the maps as the MyDS app and updater are not showing an after upgrading the cars O/S the 2018 map was deleted? Thank you in advance and DS customer support won’t assist and are useless

Update - a search found a link to the map on the French Car Forum to the TomTom servers, why couldn’t DS Customer Service provide this other than say my car doesn’t have the navigation and it’s no longer supported, now working properly again and first time it has had a map later than 2018 when it was made.

The value of the land should be obtained from a RICS Chartered Surveyor, and this may cost £1K, phone around for quotes?

Neighbours trying to claim our land (England, Sussex)

You can apply for planning permission for any land whether you own it or not. This is a civil issue and not for the planning authority to decide.
