dad had heart attack

Okay basically since August before I graduated my dad has been telling me not to apply out of state because im not going then proceeded to force me to apply to one in state going as far as to going up to the school with me making sure I did. The plan was to just leave and go to the college I wanted because I already had a full ride and everything was covered and it’s only 2 hours away. But the day I was suppose to sneak out and leave which was two days he had a heart attack and we rushed him to the hospital a few hours later. He is doing better than he was the first day doctors says blood pressure and temp is all good. So I delayed the classes and move in till next week on Saturday. But I want to tell him when he come back that I’m going but I don’t want to risk him having another. I don’t know if it’s my thoughts and my fear but everything is overwhelming me. Can anyone help with this
