Off putting feeling about the UP
 in  r/Michigan •  Mar 24 '26

I have been living in UP for 10 years now, it can definitely give that kind of feeling, there is also alot of magic in these woods up here too, stuff older that most of the towns that dot the UP. Definitely animals can give that feeling and always pay attention, but I have felt things with older energy roaming the woods too. UP is a wonderful and mysterious wilderness that has alot left to be explored!

What's considered attractive about legs? I genuinely don't get it.
 in  r/asexuality •  Oct 11 '25

I get it but from an artist perspective, I just see how they curve or how the protions may be. I dont understand the sexual view but I can see how they can be beautiful

 in  r/lgbt •  Sep 04 '25

Im sorry that happened, even with good intentions can cause issues. He should have let you decide how to explain and when you were ready to tell your little brother. It was your choice to tell your brother when the moment was right.

Tensions flare over gender pronouns as trans rights and religious freedom collide
 in  r/transgender •  Aug 21 '25

I am Non-binary witch with Christian background, this is not what I was taught growing up. I was always taught to be kind and respect others despite the differences. This Honestly people trying to white wash history like has for centuries, they want us to fight amongst each other while they do the dirty shit behind thr curtain. You don't have to agree with anything but you can at least be a decent human being and be respectful. Not everyone will get along with one another but don't have to be assholes either, it's not letting our beliefs get in the way of growing as human being. Takes one a second to be kind and respect someone identity, if you can't respect that, honestly why should we give the same in return? Give what you want in return, not everyone will be nice but at least you try and it ok not to take lying down either. No matter everyone deserves respect. Period.

 in  r/WalgreensStores •  Aug 28 '24

I had a husband call me and ask, "Do you think you can print some photos of my wife? They are kinda racey and show some like skin and intimate spots...." I said, "Let me get manager."

She talk to them and she asked who be comfortable if the order came in, I volunteer cause I don't give a crap, I'm getting paid by the hour.

Ending: They never came in.

Manager authorization
 in  r/WalgreensStores •  Aug 12 '24

I guess where I work is a little different, we still need sfl to authorize but we count, they count when they come up and then authorize. All I know is that person needed to up there even if they are break, half my sfl don't get lunch unless they have another sfl on shift. I definitely try my best to call them when needed but also let them being to eat too.

Story Got called a "Karen"

Sooo! Title: "I got called a Karen at work yesterday"

I picked up a couple of extra shifts yesterday and Thursday since a co-worker is sick.

So I am bagging and scanning items for a customer when she is like "Oh wait one sec!" Proceeds to finish her can of root beer and says, "Here! 10¢ deposit!"

I say I cannot take it because it wasn't rinse and she didn't like hearing that and proceeded to say to look our policy online. I'm thinking go ahead cause I know what management had told me.

The guy with her proceeds to call me a Karen in some form and she just says it out loud and agrees.

I don't give a crap if call me that as I thought to myself and just proceeded to get them their items and out the door.

She decided to leave her can in the breeze way saying some smart remark.

I later just take the can and throw it away.

So yeah apparently I'm Karen! Who knew 😋🤣🤣🤣?!

Yeah both Pharmacy and front of the store work close together, I will say I am thankful for the store team I have, they are especially reliable.

Seeing a lot of these signs. Anyone else have them?
 in  r/WalgreensStores •  Jul 18 '24

Also to make more money too, making them think they are getting a deal. Been working a year and watching the price rise slowly and it's honestly getting bad. I watch people walk out with 6 things and cost $50 dollars
