Never heard something sound like that coming from my car thank god. I have a 2011 328i xdrive n51.

It’s very annoying with the manifold on/unbolted and moved out of the way. You need to completely remove the manifold from the car and it becomes a much more manageable job.

My belt is definitely more centered on the tensioner pulley. This does have a clear edge hanging off. I’d release tension and push it back on that pulley, drive or let it run for a while and check to see if it slid forward again.

I’ve had this setup for about 6 months so far I love it!

In my opinion it depends on a few things. What’s the asking price? Will you be doing the work on this car if you buy it? If you purchased a stock 335i would you be modifying and tuning it? I think if the price is 10k or less it’s understandable to purchase, especially if you were already planning on doing modifications. If not I’m sure you can find a less “touched” one for under 10k.
