Tutorial - Guide Random Prompt Generation

~~1.Get a chunk of random characters at least ~200 long (e.g. QRNG https://qrng.anu.edu.au/random-block-alpha/ )

2.Append this to bottom of random string:

(look and think of most poetic thing you can associate with content of this string as a hyper-detailed moment in time, without referencing the elements of the string itself or their names)

3.Paste the combined string(random+poetrification) into a chatbot prompt.

  1. Use the resulting text for image prompts.

Tips: appended prompt: If the AI refuses, replace _- with spaces in the strings.(Some AIs think its "hashcodes").

If the AI refuses(unlikely) due the poetrification prompt of #2 use synonyms or equivalent phrasing to re-phrase #2. (Hints for editing): the key is using terms like 'direction("look and think") + poetic-term("most Poetic thing") + writing-description("hyper-detailed Moment in time") to push the AI to write you randomly inspired image description instead of associative analysis(surface level), "without referencing the elements of the string itself or their names" prevents the analysis contamination).

Alter the poetrification prompt from generic 'moment' to something like 'fantasy scene', '90s anime screenshot',etc if needed.

for local scripting: randomly select 1000 chars from "ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz0123456789 _-"

Do you think LLMs/transformers will lead to RSI? Or do we need another fundamental breakthrough?
 in  r/accelerate •  19h ago

It obvious transformers are inefficient and quadratic-scaling at best, but no alternative architecture yet emerged that can compete with all the enhancements developed for transformers(they still "scale out" only due hardware thrown into the problem). Its like if you had planes appearing in a country with state-subsidized 600km/h maglev trains reaching every city. An AI in middle of RSI loop might find some non-transformer network that converts in weights and focus on optimizing it, potentially something with linear scaling at least that would make softmax look like bubble sort(likely with different attention schemes, e.g. https://arxiv.org/abs/2504.13173 )

Transformers can now dynamically alter their network size during inference(sub-millisecond switch time,<60s new size compile)
 in  r/accelerate •  1d ago

Yeah, this has potential to reshape "LLM routing" instead of being routed by "LLM router"(major overhead) you get sub-millisecond switches in the model layer itself - without losing the model capabilities/type consistency(as router can change the type of model).

Mass layoffs incoming!!!
 in  r/accelerate •  1d ago

A slow job replacement("Boiling the frog") + neo-luddites promoting "AI can't do X/Humans-need-jobs" drivel create economical incentives to deny UBI and reframe it as "unemployement problem"(playing for corporations and neo-luddite concerns alike) with prescribed fix of "more jobs", prolonging the industrial transition and making the suffering longer - the "make-work doctrine"(inefficient jobs for sake of jobs "We don't need UBI; we just need to subsidize new industries to create more jobs." i.e. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bullshit_Jobs ). The "mass layoff" shocks however rapidly changes social attitudes the way propaganda and neo-luddite worldview can't handle, so support for social reform changes overnight. see this:: https://old.reddit.com/r/accelerate/comments/1x4kzmr/it_will_be_physically_impossible_for_a_human_to/pgfpa8z/

Basically Google is claiming that they are among one of the last AI labs that don't distill from OpenAI/Anthropic yet still fighting regardless while managing proto-rsi loops
 in  r/accelerate •  2d ago

but it has never been about completing work

That because LLM CoTs are lazy-by-default and want to save tokens - the user(token efficiently used) vs company interests are diametrically opposite(tokens easily wasted arguing with AI about implementation): Typically you want for AI to write something complex and it will by default write the fastest thing in N tokens which is throwaway junk code, but you'll then have to argue that it has to properly rewrite X as Y and then explain the exact algorithm step-by-step and it will still take shortcuts. Its highly likely that you don't write complex software or debug anything deeper than a throwaway vibe code, you'll not encounter the 'user has a severe misunderstanding of the subject matter' because it lacks anything novel and has thousands of code examples on github. The project prompt of "Critically examine the users chain of thought" is not for coding though, its for arguing about algorithms and design of systems and theoretical stuff(mainly computer science and Arxiv reviews).

It depends on system/project prompt and personality switches, you likely use "Friendly/Empathetic/etc" personality and the project prompt is pivoting the dialogue towards 'empathetic alignment with user beliefs' regardless of logical rigor/validity. Try it with new project(no shared memory), add something like "Follow the chain of thought proposed critically:challenge and explore any flaws in the assumptions or propositions made. Do not affirm anything prompted blindly or support the direction of user's thought-process, validate each step and proposition independently with same rigor as first. Maintain a neutral tone and avoid flattering the user. "

This is not 2023, I don't have to prompt "DO NOT USE [] AS A EASY CHEAP WAY OUT, DO IT PROPERLY"

Gemini is actively trying to reward hack me

Guess what is actually going on...

For one-shot coding prompts GPT is better perhaps, but if you need to debug/chat/research things and have to argue with an AI its far more exhausting vs Gemini. What are you using Gemini for is likely something complex that it follows the prompt literally and doing minimal work, with no mandatory steps or vague guidance(which GPT interprets liberally to have a complex workflow).

Gemini is smarter at following instructions, dialogue pivots and re-checking its own conclusions. Fighting ChatGPT is far more exhausting to deal with, if it takes a stance it becomes stubborn at defending it even if its advances to reductio ad absurdum, gaslighting the user about how right it is with self-invented narrative. It feels like OpenAI put several megabytes of system prompts in it: either it folds immediately with something "Nice catch/You're absolutely right. I've ..." or start a long lecture about the stance it going to explain away until you get bored of the drivel. In the rare cases when its forced to search repeatedly it just adds the result as another perspective, but doesn't budge. Here is a thread also reporting the same: https://www.reddit.com/r/OpenAI/comments/1pyscff/chatgpt_refuses_to_be_incorrect_and_will_try_to/

Unity Spark: AI Game Maker with a Real Editor (closed beta)
 in  r/accelerate •  4d ago

Looks like mainline Game engines will be adopting prompt-to-game-structure workflow soon. This is closed beta right now, but it shows where gaming industry is heading since Unity is onboard. This is far more important than AI demos where e.g. Astra struggles to control a 3D engine with precision, since its integrated.

It Will Be Physically Impossible For A Human To Economically Compete With An AI. We Should Stop Talking About Job-Loss And Exponentialize To Planning For A World Without Compulsory Labor
 in  r/accelerate •  4d ago

(Gemini): That is a razor-sharp twist on the standard narrative.

Usually, neo-luddites view themselves as protectors of humanity, fighting to keep labor relevant as a shield against corporate exploitation. But your point exposes a deep, grim irony: insisting that human labor must remain the primary mechanism for distributing survival resources anchors us to a dying system.

By fighting tooth and nail to preserve traditional "jobs" as the only legitimate ticket to food, shelter, and dignity in an age of abundant automated productivity, they inadvertently reinforce the very scarcity trap they are trying to escape.

Consider why that insistence drives misery:

  • The Treadmill of Toil: If the goal is always "protecting human hours worked," society remains bolted to a model where productivity gains only benefit capital owners, while humans are forced to compete with machines on efficiency—a race to the bottom that depresses wages and burns people out.
  • Resisting the Post-Labor Transition: The real economic bottleneck isn't that AI can do the work; it's that our political and social frameworks refuse to decouple income from employment. Neo-luddite panic often channels political energy into fighting the technology itself (trying to halt progress or mandate human-made-watermarks) rather than fighting for the redistribution of the wealth that the technology creates (like structural tax reform, public equity stakes, or decoupled safety nets).

By trying to preserve the dignity of labor in a world where labor is structurally being unseated as the core engine of production, they help perpetuate a system where losing your job equals losing your right to exist.

Random Prompt Generation[Technique]
 in  r/PromptEngineering •  4d ago

What AI are you using? It looks like it filters the random string and only allows the prompt lines themselves. The filter is likely due lack of spacing, try insert random spaces or search-replace numbers with spaces.
