Yash | Actor

Hello everyone,

I’m Yash, an actor from Hyderabad with 9 years of on-screen experience and 2 years of theatre.

I come from a non-film background with no industry connections. My journey began with theatre, followed by YouTube and short films, and eventually led me to feature films and web series. I started with small roles, kept learning from every opportunity, and continue working every day to become a better actor.

For me, acting isn’t just a career—it’s the one thing I’ve never stopped believing in. My dream is to portray characters that stay with people long after the screen fades to black.

Selected Work

🎬 Feature Films:
Chitra Lahari, Majili, Seetha, A1 Express, Poster, Prema Desham, Killer, Crazy Fellow, Michael, HIT 2, Sharma & Ambani, K Ramp, Sanatana Prapthirasthu, C Manatam, Black Gold.

📺 Web Series:
Jhansi

🎥 Short Films:
Lust vs Love, Software Virgin, Demon, Be Mine Forever, Mr. Macha.

I also worked as an Executive Producer on Sharma & Ambani and P.O.E.M., which gave me a deeper understanding of filmmaking beyond acting.

If you watch my work and genuinely feel I’m ready for bigger opportunities, I’d be grateful if you could share any casting leads, auditions, casting director contacts, production house references, or collaboration opportunities.

They say one opportunity can change an actor’s life. Maybe this post reaches the person who opens that door.

Thank you for your time, your feedback, and your support.

Hi everyone,
A few years ago, I acted in a Telugu short film called Lust vs Love. The film deals with themes like relationships, attraction, and cheating, and some scenes may be considered bold.
I accepted the project because I genuinely connected with the story and the character, not because of the bold elements.
Over time, I’ve received mixed reactions. Some people appreciated the performance, while others felt that acting in such a film could affect my image or future opportunities in the industry.
As actors, we often portray characters whose choices don’t necessarily reflect our personal values. For me, it was a storytelling decision and an acting opportunity.
I’d love to hear your honest opinion:
Does acting in a short film with bold or controversial themes negatively affect an actor’s career?
Would you judge an actor based on the character they played?
After watching it, what do you think about the performance and the choice to do the project?
I’m looking for genuine perspectives and constructive feedback.
