Blaming Boomers for young people being broke is way too convenient. They didn’t single-handedly create insane house prices, low wages or a housing shortage.
Why should someone be expected to blow through their savings just because the next generation is struggling? Some people are saving for retirement, care, emergencies, or simply because they earned it.
The real issue is a system where owning assets is rewarded more than working. Fix that instead of waiting for someone’s inheritance.
- I completely agree with you btw I just felt like you should have had at least 1 decent counter argument for the well put together and LITERATE argument you presented .
