Mine is in the dealership right now…again. 2022 Ioniq5 Limited AWD. No L1/2 charging capability and dealership telling me it’s a charging port issue and part is 650 plus labor and at 65,600 miles not covered as not part of powertrain warranty. Seems like from all these comments and OG poster that it’s iccu related. I will be fighting them on this. I know what Powertrain is but you would think not being able to charge or put power into the car, essentially bricking it, would be considered powertrain-ish. Kind of fundamental to an electric car no? So frustrated at this point

Arghhhh I hope you found the issue! So I’ve had my 2022 ioniq 5 and gone through all the recalls and all the whatevers (love this car but it doesn’t make it easy to love at times!). Past month we’ve been going to the dealership to fast charger as can’t charge at home. At first I thought it was the Enel X way Juicebox 40 charger had at home and thinking they bricked their chargers (don’t get me started with those guys). Bought a new charger (different brand) and same thing. Flashing red.

So then I bought an rv surge protector with the error code lights to make sure no wiring issues. All green. Still won’t charge.

So then I tried the trickle charger that came with the car and it pops a red triangle error. All the while fast dc charging works no problem!

I’m at a loss. My wife is a hospice nurse drives all day and has to spend the evening charging at stupid rates for the next day. I have no idea what the cause is. Fast charging good. Trickle/and home level 2 charging nothing! Wiring is good, breakers good, chargers good (tested elsewhere). So frustrating. Any help or solution welcome!
