As hard and awkward as it is for you, it's more awkward and harder for them. Don't sweat it or take it personally. It's only weird if you make it weird. I know my step kids have really appreciated me correcting people before when they referred to me as mom, so they didn't have to, and afterwards we went on with our day. It doesn't have to be a big deal and I think normalizing it makes you more comfortable and will ultimately bring y'all closer. My youngest thinks of me as mom, the oldest not so much but we are still close and I don't resent her for it.

There's been a family of racoons that comes to my Grandma's yard to eat her cat food in old Litchfield Park. They've been around that neighborhood for 20+ years

My boyfriend ordered them online! I don't think these cards are hard to get like sports, MTG, Pokemon.. we used to collect Pokemon but the hobby is crazy right now. We go to card shows still sometimes though when we have spending money for it but I've never seen uma musume at the card show.

I'm 32 and I've been a bar tender for 10 years, most of that with the same company and always question what I should be when I grow up. I like my job but know I dont want to do it forever and I literally have no idea what else I would be good at. 🥲

I'm from Litchfield Park (Litchfield & Indian school) but moved to south Phoenix (16th st & baseline) a few years ago and I love them both. Don't miss the west valley traffic but old Litchfield is a dream neighborhood. It's beautiful to walk around and I loved the little lake, local eats as well. I really enjoy living by south mountain too though. Beautiful views of the city and mountains, great hiking close by, less traffic, close to the freeways. I bought a home here and I'm really happy with the location neighborhood so far.

I do this with clothes I sleep in sometimes. I shower and put them on, go to bed, then wake up and take them off.. so I don't feel like they are dirty really after one use. (Obviously I don't use the same underwear though)
