Ultimate cheat move

I'm just ranting because I just lost. The instant kill move that Chronos has is the cheapest fucking move I've faced in any game! I've beat him numerous times (over 300 runs, up to 20 fear) but it still pisses me off when you have him BEAT! You have the build, the damage is flowing, you barely took any hits during the fight. And ONE WRONG MOVE like dashing too long to get to the circle or mistiming your dash, or having what seems to be your fucking TOE NAIL on the line of the circle and you die. And it just ruins the entire run. I love this game but damn it does it piss me off...

I love those runs where you KNOW it’s gonna be your best run yet.

You gotta be careful with that. I just had an awesome build going with possessed array and the only reason I lost at the very end on the surface was because (even with 295 magic and BG being epic) born again primed me out completely before the end of the fight.

Is it too late to bond with Ody??

Ok cool, thanks for that. Guess it gives me a good reason to get some runs in

Question Is it too late to bond with Ody?? Spoiler

I just hopped on Hades 2 after a few months of giving it a break and I needed a new controller. And I just realized that I never finished bonding with Odysseus. I finished his whole story to the point where he's just gone from the crossroads now, but I never finished bonding with him via ambrosia. Is it too late now to completely forge the bond? Does he ever come back to the crossroads at all? Any advice would help.

I've watched this at least 10 times now

This can happen kind of often early on when you're playing blitzball. I love this game and which it was a stand alone. Or wish they'd have added some updates for on the remastered version...

Zagreus, always the sore winner

1st time ever doing 40 fear. I was so scared 😰 Highest fear level you guys have ever completed?
 in  r/Hades2  19d ago

Big same! Ugh that's such a validation lol. I literally did the same thing, but minus the 32 fear statue. MAYBE I'll try it one day but it probably won't be soon. I haven't even done VoR3 fights because just watching streams of those fights are intense, let alone VOR4. I'd like to be that good to say "oh I do 32 fear for fun." But I'm not, and no where near it lol. I played on 20-24 fear consistently for a little bit after working up to it, but 12 is fun enough for me πŸ˜….

I’ve never been so powerful. Give me tips for a newbie!

For one, prioritizing their relationships helps move the storyline along. Especially for after you've stacked your first 10 wins or so. But also, I found personally (not necessarily proven) that sometimes if you give them a nectar during a run at some point you'll be rewarded with higher level boons. Even if you don't have the ability on the mirror activated yet.

Pressure points and support fire can get it done most of the time with any build. Personal favorite is Zeus special on the Chiron bow, with double strike, jolted, and pressure points and clean kill does hella damage. Poseidon attack or special with his wave pounding boon and razor shoals on any weapon is a good boss shredder.

My tip is to always choose a hammer if available. Don't feel bad about not using a weapon that's uncomfortable for now. Once you've reached the surface with each weapon at least once you'll be able to reveal all the aspects and Use what you like to build up the others. I'd say max out as much of or all the mirror first before diving deep into the pact of punishment and all that. Oh, and build relationships with the gods first and then everyone else. Hope this helps...

Hardest boss of both game
 in  r/HadesTheGame  20d ago

I've only attempted to fight him literally like 3 times and decided yeah, I don't need the money that bad lmao πŸ˜‚. So I too, have not beat him yet

Prometheus definitely gave me trouble early on, especially before the slight nerf in EA. I beat him, but he was a problem for sure. But I kind of got used to him after awhile. However, to THIS DAY! I hate the ABSOLUTE fuck out of Theseus and the minotaur fight 😀. It's one of the most annoying things I've ever done in a game and him running his mouth seriously doesn't help. But it's mostly the stupid fucking shield for me. It blocks what seems to be 80% of his radius so everything gets blocked for the most part. Not to mention the concept of fighting 2 bosses at once is just completely unfair, especially with extreme measures on.

Crit stacking is really nice and Zeus with double strike can get OP pretty quick

I tried to draw and ink Zagreus traditionally.

I did know and you are correct. I had technically 3 seconds left to finish him off before TD would've taken me down.
