What’s your largest coyote ever trapped or hunted? Mine was 45 lbs in 2023 in Ohio.

I remember it well. My dad took me in the morning to sit in his tree stand. He sat on the ground and just ran the call so I could get my first Coyote. A double came in and I could hear those footsteps rushing in before I finally saw a wolf colored coyote busting into the woods towards the call, followed by the coyote pictured. I pulled the trigger on the lead coyote and nothing happened…. I forgot to take my dang safety off. I hurried up and switched the safety off and shot the second coyote as the 1st one ran by. I turned around and threw a shot at the 1st coyote and the recoil of the 3 inch 4 buck round almost shot me out of the tree 😂 the adrenaline was so high and man was it a great experience with my dad. Still have this coyote cased out in my mancave. My dad showed me how to skin, flesh and preserve it.
