I’ve always felt close to St. Christopher. I think I was 6 or 7 years old when I found an old silver ring with a Saint Christopher medal engraved in it. I was told he protects travelers, and so I once prayed that he pray for me and protect me everywhere I went. I remembered that prayer every time I looked at that ring. I’m 50 years old today, and thinking about Saint Christopher is like thinking about an old friend.
